David Gray has the biggest selling album of all time in Ireland and also holds the record for the longest time spent in the charts. You should certainly listen to more, "Shine" is one of my personal favourites.

I really like David Gray but unfortunately he decided to completely miss out the final verse ,which absolutely defines the song.
You couldnt tell how great David Grey is? He has many hits . Please look up his hits there are many you will love them . You will connect and feel. Dont say good bye to David Grey.
This is completely different to the original, as all covers should be. I much prefer the Soft Cell version, with its 80s synth backing track. I do find Marc Almond's vocal a bit off key though. The original is also MUCH SHORTER, despite having an extra verse. You should listen to it to hear the difference to the David Grey version, even if you don't do it as a reaction.
