Hey cometflamer! Local roblox myth and oddities nerd here to explain the silly references in this awesome mod!!! John Doe is the one you probably know best about, he was just a test account made by the devs that every player thought was gonna hack the site on a specific date. Guest 666 in Devilish is also one you probably know about already, basically just an evil guest, in a similar light to herobrine if you wanna think about it like that. In the song 1 you go against 1x1x1x1, similarly to John Doe they were an account made by one of the roblox devs that everyone thought was a hacker, except the dev kinda played into this one a little bit before eventually saying it was just him. He also appears in Joy after the bluescreen, just with a different look that he had at some point on roblox. Bloxwatch is a reference to a group by the same name, after nothing happened on the date everyone thought John Doe would hack the site, rumors spread around about a group called Bloxwatch that came in the form of glowing eyes that would show up on some roblox games on the front page that threatened to IP Ban players. White Eyes meant that they didn’t pose any particular threat, Yellow Eyes is a warning to any player to leave the game, and Red Eyes were known as the leader or king of them and approaching them would cause the player to be permanently IP banned and get your account deleted. This myth was obviously fake. Joy is a reference to a roblox myth called RUST_010. Their games don’t really mean much and were meant to just be scary horror games, but during their prime time they were filled with a lot of mystery and people were trying to make sense of it all. They’re also really known for their involvement with roblox youtuber Flamingo (formerly known as Albertsstuff) and that’s how they were popularized. The shapeshifting is likely in reference to some of his games where some entities took on the form of some players by their user IDs, or the fact that RUST_010 themselves used different alt accounts that were seemingly just normal people so that they could blend in. For rockhard, it’s just Cheeky you kinda know this i think but the most i can really say is that he’s from a myth(?) known as MUGEN that make weird cryptic games, explaining the second half of the song. Noli references a roblox myth by the same name, about a user who was seemingly banned for no reason during earlier roblox days. Around 2014 under a different account, a game called The Tempest would be published. It contained some kind of Temple that crumbles when you stay in it for too long with text saying “You have angered Noli!” and “Noli shall crush you!” This myth is probably one of the most mysterious to most players, with other myth-like groups rising that even worship Noli. Bloxpin is just a reference to a game called Kohls Admin House, which had you complete an obby to get free admin. The bear is named Teddy Bloxpin and was just an item on roblox. Bloxpin-Scary is just a reference to a different colored version of Teddy Bloxpin called Evil Teddy Bloxpin. The song is just the same but slowed and pitched down a bit, similarly to the Daycore version of songs people would put on youtube. Bloody-Mary is a reference to an already existing roblox game and was one of the first roblox horror games i believe. it’s very much dated and doesn’t really hold up much but it was pretty popular in the day for being a scary game with secrets and whatnot. Strawberry and Obby-for-succ are in reference to two different youtube videos. Not much else to say. Party-time is in reference to a game on roblox that was a horror game, in a similar way to Bloody-mary but made a little later on. I don’t remember much from the game but I do remember there’s some ending or something that does crash your game the same way the song does. iloveyou is in reference to a game called Oobja that basically just goes the same way the song did, meant to be a heartfelt message to the player to comfort them and letting them have the choice to change their appearance to how they most feel comfortable. Only last thing to mention would be the that the song menu is in reference to a roblox game called the normal elevator. but that’s all of the references!!! IM SORRY FOR YAPPING ITS JUST ONE OF MY SPECIAL INTERESTS!!!! I hope this helps though :)
Just wanted to say you are wrong about how 1x1x1x1 appears in Joy, that's actually a different myth named spirit, which was one of the first myths ever made.
@nebroc12 -The sprite is a recolour of 1x1x1x1 sprite from "1". -The named of the sprite is also gives a reference to 1x1x1x1. (I forgot what it was named) -All of the opponents you fought in Joy are the same opponents yiu fought in the previous songs before Joy
@@sillydani106 the recolour makes it look a lot like spirit, which you can see if you search them up. Black head, green limbs, roblox logo on torso. Also the chromatic sounds fairly different from the one 1x1x1x1 has in 1.
Aditional info i can give: 1.Voice for guest 666 is sampled from the song named "i feel like a monster" which is a song that was everywhere when guest 666 was popular 2.Despite 1x1x1x1 myth was confirmed to be a test account roblox is still playing along with the myth for lore
@@nebroc12 i get what you’re saying, and you’re probably right but i feel like it’s more likely that it’s in reference to 1x1x1x1 rather than spirit. i know what spirit is but there was a point in time where 1x1x1x1 had that look. that and like the other person mentioned you do go against the people you already went against, i could be wrong tho if the devs have said that it is spirit.
