1-Disable the Anti-lag feature in performance tab in the adrenaline app. 2- if you set your desktop background to "slideshow" that changes every minute, change it to a single background picture. This fixes all stuttering issues in AMD cards. Try this and thank me later.

This is a long time problem on AMD gpus when played with DX11 games like days gone or Assassin's Creed games ((except for Valhalla which is dx12 that runs good on AMD))... You can also go to your task manager and go to GPU tab..watch the Copy graph as you move the camera, when the fps drops , you'll see the Copy graph gets utilized.
Same here. I swear im playing the game on 2GB vram (Amd rx 460) and i have an average of 50-60fps its playable but sometimes for no reasons it just drop the fps. As someone said changing texture quality to low and to normal again fix the problem for a bit.
the same problem in an rx 470 (4GB) I5 4890 3.6 ghz and I have 16 ram but in the future I will put 8 more I suppose that with the next patch they are doing about what the gpu consumes at 80% on amd cards and the absurd use of ram and I hope they solve various bugs and fps drops
i never had issues with my rx 580 with fps drops playing it on max settings and the last of us too no issues. People cry about last of us a lot and thanks god i have no problems it should be adrenalin software , windows updating in middle of gaming or something. Not the GPU!
I think it's the game issue running poorly on amd cards maybe next patch will fix it. 1650 is running this better than a 580 so it's gotta be a game issue.

Es indudable que es algun problema de optimización en AMD, ya que con una tarjeta inferior (EVGA GTX 960, 4GB) corria a 55 estbles bajando solo a 50 (en calidad original, en 1080 y usando FSR en algunas zonas). En el lago de los nueve no lo llegue a probar. Espero que a alguien le sirva el ajuste por las dudas. i have rx580 8gb + 2x8 ram + intel i5 9400f but i have fps drops too . an example the stranger boss fight has so big drops for me i hope they'll fix that cause i am playing the game with god of war difficulty and its too hard :(
Is it possible that the ram is overloaded? I had the same problem as the video above. even though it has 16gb, it is overloaded and drop. The feeling of playing is very uncomfortable

AMD drivers does not support DX11 Multitexturing ... Due to that, most or every DX11 demanding game will show some or all behaviors bellow: Low GPU Usage. Micro Stuttering in several areas\occasions. Huge FPS drops out of blue. The same can be observed in AC Origins\AC Odyssey\NFS Heat\NFS Payback and Days Gone. This is a known issue since 2010, but, since AMD is what it is, nothing was done and nothing will ever be. From 12/2020 to 06/2021 I've tried to "fix" these situations, until I gave up and replaced mine 6900xt with a 3080ti. No problem since then. AMD Can't handle DX11, no matter what. If you really want to experience GOW, exchange your AMD card and get a Nvidia one. There is an official thread about this inside AMD forum, called: "God of War - Performance issues / random FPS drops with AMD graphic cards" Silence is all we've heard so far, from AMD. Like always, crap company, faulty hardware, broken products.
Yes,im finishing days gone and it happens a lot,at the campings,big towns,the fps drop to 40/30. But in god of war is way worse,i have drops to 25 fps at the lake of nine
Oi brother. Eu usei o vulkan mas o problema é no jogo que está mal otimizado principalmente pra quem usa AMD. Tem muita queda de fps brusca e lags e stuterings. Independente da configuração de resolução e gráficos. Esse problema só vai se resolver se os desenvolvedores lançarem update corrigindo isso.

Same problem with mine red devil 570 4gb. Gpu usage goes down to 20 - 30 % and fps drops to 20. Its an amd rivers issue it should be fixed soon.

I'm having a similar problem with my GTX 1070 TI, the game is at 60 FPS all the time, but I always have drops for 50, 40 and 45 FPS.

It's fixed now, the problem itself was from the game it had memory leaks. New GOW patch fixed it tho
