Man...one of the worst days ever. Clicked on this video within an hour of its release. Watched it about 20x. Got online to order tickets for Linkin Park with MGK in Charlotte, NC that summer for what would've been my first LP concert. Then my old friend messaged me and told me Chester had passed away. Nothing was ever the same after that. Chester was my biggest inspiration for wanting to be a singer. A lot of my passion for music died that day with him. I don't use this phrase lightly when I say Linkin Park saved my life. Depression sucks, man. I fight it every day. And I know he fought it as long as he could. He helped so many of us without a voice, who were too young to really understand or express those feelings that made his lyrics so universal, and made LP arguably the biggest rock band of the 21st century. RIP Chester Bennington

Please, I beg, make a documentary/feature film about Chester's life and show it in cinemas around the world. Film about all his good and bad moments, about everything he did to everyone in this world, about his influence, his legacy to this world. I want to watch and feel everything he faced in his life. I want everyone to know how big a legend he is. I want to show this film to my children in 5/10/15 years so they can understand how much did Chester mean to their dad.
Let them know, how he dealt with depression. He saved thousands of people even though he suffered from depression. Let them know that depression is not an identity, it is a problem we have to talk about, but nobody does. :(

You know what's really weird, when Chester died, I turned to my hero academia to inspire me to be better and remember him in a healthy way, and when Stan lee died my entire life crumpled down around me, I'm 16 and my two top idol/inspirations died just a year apart and I went into a deep depression, and then I heard the new season of my hero academia was having another season a month later and I found it as a sign so my decade resolution was to stop crying for them but instead be happy they lived a full and loved life, and I know your just a person on the internet who isn't actually him but thank you anyways

I was meant to go to a Linkin Park concert weeks before he died, but a terrorist attack happened at the arena they were meant to play at. I can’t help but wonder if that pushed Chester over the edge, even though he’d been suffering for so long. The fact that this music video takes place at a concert has me wondering.

It's hard not to cry because I also feel connected like everyone in these comment sections, and I don't want to believe it's true. It's a harsh reality to come to terms with the fact that someone that I idolized for so long left this earth the way he did... Also, apparently Linkin Park isn't eligible for induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame until 2025, but they should be inducted today in my opinion.

As I heard about his death, my face became full of tears. A really tragic story of such a great dude.
When this song came out before Chester left this world, there were more haters than real fans in the comments section with almost half the dislikes. After he's gone, the haters suddenly got outnumbered. People just don't appreciate what they've got until it's gone.

Zalhala me too... it's awful that we won't be able to see him, his smile, to visit concert where he alive. I can't believe that there are people who think that he is unworthy of our tears because of his addictions. It doesn't matter. If he was a bad man, he is not attracted to people. People would not cry for almost a week not asked to establish a monument to him, was not going to be together in their cities to say goodbye to him.

Rest In Peace Chester. The voice of my childhood. I remember having suicidal thoughts at the age of eleven because of bullies and when being depressed, I would go and listen to Linkin Park. It would usually help a lot. I discovered Linkin Park in 2014 thanks to the song Numb and was a hardcore fan ever since. I even managed to see them live in my hometown of Prague just 2 months before Chester’s passing. And even though it is one year now, I still am praying for a news article saying it was all fake and you are alive. However, as time went by, I realized it will probably never happen. Goodbye legend.
I remember exactly the day when this video was released. I was just packing some stuff for a festival when information about his death came. From that day I have always had mixed feelings while hearing this song. I mean, I do love the song. It's just hits different when you associate a song with such a sad event. I remember I didn't enjoy the festival at all. I was only thinking about Chester. Although the festival was electronic dance music type, many people played this song during the festival from their cars.

You know what's really weird, when Chester died, I turned to my hero academia to inspire me to be better and remember him in a healthy way, and when Stan lee died my entire life crumpled down around me, I'm 16 and my two top idol/inspirations died just a year apart and I went into a deep depression, and then I heard the new season of my hero academia was having another season a month later and I found it as a sign so my decade resolution was to stop crying for them but instead be happy they lived a full and loved life, and I know your just a person on the internet who isn't actually him but thank you anyways

Rest In Peace Chester. The voice of my childhood. I remember having suicidal thoughts at the age of eleven because of bullies and when being depressed, I would go and listen to Linkin Park. It would usually help a lot. I discovered Linkin Park in 2014 thanks to the song Numb and was a hardcore fan ever since. I even managed to see them live in my hometown of Prague just 2 months before Chester’s passing. And even though it is one year now, I still am praying for a news article saying it was all fake and you are alive. However, as time went by, I realized it will probably never happen. Goodbye legend.

From that day I have always had mixed feelings while hearing this song. I mean, I do love the song. It's just hits different when you associate a song with such a sad event. Although the festival was electronic dance music type, many people played this song during the festival from their cars.

I’ll be honest, when this album came out I wasn’t initially on board as I thought it was a little too poppy for LP and wanted more rock but damn I have come to appreciate it and love songs this. RIP Chester. So glad I got to see them in concert ❤

This was the same for me. This was the first day I cried myself to sleep since a few years. My best friend died nearly seven years ago and I heard LP excessively. On that day the old wounds were ripped open again. I am so glad Mike is touring in Europe. I'll be at his concert in Munich.

I have live audio they sent us from the concert (they would send each recorded show) from I believe the Thousand Suns Tour. They had to cancel some shows after since Chester was really sick. I know it's not the same, but I'd be more than happy to share.
