Thanx man, I rejetted carb 108/35 and turned the air/fuel screw out a 1/2 turn to richen it up. by doing this it pretty much got rid of the pinging at higher revs.
I've had mine for three weeks. It 4100 otd. I was aggravated there was such a mark up

Depends on what state you're in, I've seen everywhere from 3400 to 5200.
Best price would be used FB marketplace or an XR150l forum on FB.
I think they are 3000 in Illinois. It’s a cheap little bike, not much to it. 1970’s technology.
