I have been screwed so many times by a combination of Paladin Class and me not paying attention. "I'll cast this and leave this up to cast at the end of my opponent's tu-why don't I have enough mana to cast it?"
LVD seems a natural born Johnny but is so good at being a thoughtful and careful player that he could for sure compete at the highest levels of this game. What I'm trying to say is that I'd love to see LVD and CGB do a top meta money match. Each player brings two decks. Best of 3 winner of best of 3 games chooses the charity.
@@emaltman I prefer LVD, mainly because of his personality, but you have no idea what you're talking about. CGB's got game. He records all his videos while playing in ladder, mostly in mythic. I've seen him beat PV, Huey Jensen and other top players (which of course doesn't mean he's better, but it does mean he's good). You shouldn't be talking shit about things/people you don't know (even if you are an experienced player, those 2 have never faced each other so nobody knows what the result would be). If they ever did a collab, it'd be quite a match.

I’ve been fairly skeptical of the second spell archetype since it was suggested in Kaldheim, but it’s gotten quite a bit of support. Happy to see you pilot this deck and bring out its full potential!
My only problem is that second spell is a white archetype, a color with almost zero in-color card draw effects. If white had more cantrips or draw then I'd 100% play it
@@longchampe for sure, just seems like a one-of in a deck with no card draw effects won him two of these matches, can’t rely on that. It’s definitely worth its slot but when you need it you probably won’t have it, that’s all I’m saying.
Coincidentally I tried throwing together something similar today, added the 2-drop mana-sink goblin and a Maskwood Nexus to absolutely obliterate Sparky hehe.

Thoughts on replacing some snow plains with kabira takedown and/or the white man land? Maybe 4 plains for 2 and 2. Is the potential issue of a tap land too big to do this? Gains are the extra removal spell which adds to synergies plus sweeper protection from manland
Any non-snowland will make Haven worse, which is the better creature land. Kabira takedown is a viable option, but it would have to be viewed more as a spell than a land, since tapped lands are a death sentence in this deck.

Ok so right off the bat, tahas hideous laughter will burn thought this deck VERY fast and it's only 3 mana to cast, so amy blue deck with it in the sideboard will reduce the threat of this deck and give that deck a free win. Like seriously it milla you till the cards milled total mana cost is 20 and over 50% of this deck are oke drops and lands don't count as they don't have a mana cost so it can easily mill 15-20+ cards
It still needs to be a dedicated mill deck, just having Laughter in the sideboard is not a reliable gameplan. Mill is quite weak to aggro strategies, so while Laughter is good it won't skew the entire matchup.

Sparky is actually the fastest way to test out mew manabases, combos etc.
So it’s a lot more useful than people think it is

The manabase in UW is pretty rough for aggro decks right now.
Need another good untapped dual before I would look into Monk Class.

Both are fine, I liked the extra spells from learning for the purposes of enabling our synergies.
