Mikleficent is just about one of the best things I've seen these past 2 years! Loved it!!! Not that Jamursula was much behind, quite close, indeed! I'd be hard put judging them in a cosplay competition!
Jamie: I'm going for the multi-tasking badge
Also Jamie: I'm just gonna stand here holding some raw chicken for a bit
Please, PLEASE, make Mike the digger into a gif or a meme XD
"Me, when I decide to not take the 11th call from my wife"
And Mike digging a grave in the background 😂😂
Got to say, Mike wore the Malificent costume surprisingly well. And, of course, at the end of it, they still succeed just in their being better cooks than they were the last time they'd had this challenge.
Great work, guys! Here's looking to the next!
How fabulous does Mike look as Maleficent? Who wouldn’t feel great looking that fierce?
Next CHALLENGE: make a recipe from your grandmother’s cookbook. Keep it vintage. 💥😋
They’re only allowed to use the tools that were available at that time and they have to do it in the original measurements - no converting into metric
@@arnie_soup They’ll have to be ready to use dashes, pinches, or just “eyeball it”. My Nan even had “a whisper” of something, which is less then a pinch. And when it calls for a “cup”’of something, they have 5 completely different sized tea cups and coffee mugs. Not a proper measurement tool in sight.
@@jonirnmomba4130 That could have been useful when measuring ground cloves. My first time baking a specific cookie called a 'Brunzli' (a chirstmas chocolate-nut-cookie with some spices and Schnaps), the recipe told me to use a knives point of ground clove. Afterwards the entire kitchen reeked of clove. x)
Guess a 'whisper' would have been plenty.
@@Aurirang I laughed so loudly that an LOL wouldn’t do it justice!!!! Yes! I’ve been there. When I was trying to learn my Mammaws buttermilk biscuits and chocolate gravy (I live in the US South) I watched her a half dozen times from start to finish, and there were different measurements and measuring tools
used every time. EVERY SINGLE TIME! And bless her, every single time I asked her to show me how to make it she was shocked that I hadn’t figured it out the first several times because I was “such a bright girl” and it was “such a simple and quick recipe”. I Miss Her terribly- but it still makes me stressed when I try to make it lol.
@@jonirnmomba4130 I can imagine. :D
Sadly my grandmother guarded her recipes like a bloodhound. At leats i managed to edge myself a little corner-territory in kitchenwork with the cookies i make. (After little starting issues like the one mentioned :D)
I'm a bit confused what chocolate gravy is though. Isn't gravy quite a savoury sauce usually used with meat?
I don’t care who gets annoyed. I have been making the Paella burrito since the first video came out and everyone always loves it even a friend of mine who comes from Valencia and he wasn’t offended by me calling it a paella burrito at all. Best burrito ever!
I really appreciate that badges were awarded without the restriction of winning the battle. Thank you!
really appreciate the gbbo judgement music when ben is doling out the badges, really adds to the tension lol
The costume flail when he got the badge took me out. I choked on my coffee. Thanks for that Jamie 😂😂😂
Edit: I posted that before Mike’s evil victory laugh, and I choked on my coffee again. Thanks guys 😂
"Get in!" 😂😂
Me too!!! 😂❤️
Mike looks absolutely fabulous in the dress. Can you put Mike in more dresses, please? Fashion and makeup goals!
Jamie tiptoeing around the words "paella burrito" is the best thing that I've seen today :D And i've watched a koala bear being cute so...
Mike SO deserved to win, he's been losing a lot of battles lately so I was rooting for him. Great job boys - I mean evil sisters!
Me: Alright! Time to enjoy some good, wholesome cooking fun!
Sorted: DISNEY-VILLAIN-DRAGQUEEN-BATTLE! YEAH!
Me: This is EXACTLY what I signed up for!
My 7 and I just love you guys!! He has been watching you since he came out of the womb! 🥰
Waiting for another international incident. Come on Jamie don’t let me down 😂😂
Please do more cooking tutorials on how to prepare a weeknight dinner with only 20 minutes of prep and less than an hour start to finish. Also please demonstrate some great shortcut hacks - it may not be a 'foodie's' dream but it tastes good enough and satisfies a hungry family. LOVE you channel! Thanks for all you do.
I'm surprised at how great Mike and Jaime would be at Drag
Mike is killing it.
I mean, there's no 'would be' about it, that is basically what is happening here right?
Only thing this episode was missing was Mike doing Janice’s voice through the whole thing!!! 🤣
Jamie trying his best to anger Spain and Mike not making a burrito (again)... hurray for growth!
Give J credit for cajones, "oh, you didn't like that, let me do it in a way you can't whine about".
I really love his spirit towards food, that whole thing was petty bs.
"I'll give you tentacles if you ask nicely"
Well, thank you for that nightmare fuel.
(And thank you to the lovely community helping my spelling with a visual image I will die with! 😂)
Rule34
"ten tickles" not "tentacles"
Tentacles or ten tickles? Which is more nightmarish?
Typical dyslexic failing! I shall update...and now have further night terrors around tickling!
Some weirdo is writing fan fiction right now
After watching this I'm starting an ongoing petition for Mike to get into drag! 😍😆 We need MORE!
When i heard Jamie is making the same burrito as last time i got so happy. He won the "i'm not gonna be pushed over!"-badge in my eyes.
Love how these two make things entertaining and that they make us feel better and laugh. It's good to see that they've upped the anti for fun along the way. Good to see that they've learnt more about what they had to relearn from their mistakes etc.
I love Jamie's "Dish that shall not be named".
loved the cosplays, and the banter, and the efforts to not offend. loved it all!
Mike: “Don’t be tapping me with your tentacles.”
Jamie: “I’ll give you ten tickles if you ask nicely.”
My Sundays only get better and better. Thank you, SortedFood HQ.
Rewatching old videos over and over, it’s really nice to see the team behind the camera who feed into the videos!!
Maybe in the next couple of months we see the team back, even if just eating some of the grand dishes the Chef/ Normals make.
Not watched yet, please tell me Jamie hasn't made a Paella Burrito 😂
Edit: This man is playing with fire 🔥
5 mins in its not looking good 😂🤣
Jamie always loves to play with 🔥
🤣he a gangsta
@@SortedFood so does Barry when he doesn't turn off the hob...
Well done guys. You've been doing this for more than ten years and I've been following you for about five of them, and this was one of your most enjoyable videos yet to me!
How the hell are jamie and mike pulling those costumes off so convincingly
They suit them right?
@@SortedFood a bit too well lol
Well in the case of Ursula the source was a drag performer (Divine) so basically it's a full circle.
@@axolotllan o yea id forgotten that
I would like to make a correction. Mike isn't Maleficent. He is, as always, magnificent.
Oooo, Jamie truly is dancing around the low bar of not angering an nation. That's brave!
It still astounds me how pissy the spaniards got at the burito. Watching all the petty ranting was some grade a entertainment.
What a coincident!!!!!! was watching your youtube channel in my shop, and Mike walks in to buy stuff and he heard the channel playing.....introduced himself. A very good channel
I found the song “Poor Unfortunate Souls” playing in my head every time I saw Jamie and his not-paella burrito🌯🐙
👏👏 to the makeup from the production women!! Fierce AF!
omg. Well done community. I never knew I needed to see Jamie dressed as Ursula, but this is fantastic.
Having followed your channel since the early 2010s, can I just say you guys have never failed to entertain me. Great job guys!
I quite like Ursula with glasses and now am wondering how long it took Jamie to get the purple out of his beard after this was over. Edit: Also wondering why we didn't hear from Mexico's burrito enthusiasts on Jamie's initial recipe.
1:18 OH MY GOD. This was the best thing I have seen in my life.
The idea of dressing up for this video was just fantastic. Guys, *you are just the best*!
Ahhh Sunday!
A hangover and a Sortedfood binge watch session!
Same 😂
Same 😅
Y’all need to eat more when you’re drinking lol
@@ShockingPikachu yeah that’s the one thing I didn’t do 😅
I love it, I'm so glad to see an ultimate battle with cosplay! The only thing missing is a song from Mike!
Jamie: Puts Paella in his burrito.
Entire Spainish community : So i took that personally.
Jamie: Puts Paella in a burrito
Spanish: so, you have chosen death.
James' curly quarantine hair is both a look and a mood and I love it. When travel is a thing again, I hope y'all come back to California and try some of our Mexican fusion food (example: Kogi's food truck with the kimchi quesadillas and spicy tofu tacos!) because we've got some really great creative burritos here in LA. Or even just come for the regular ones honestly, you can't beat 'em
Jamie begging the entire nation of Spain not to come for him every minute or so. With a bright purple face. 😂😂😂
This video makes me happy. Love the guys doing a good job, love the cosplay, really loving the curly Currie hair.
Was Mike wearing heels the whole time!? Clearly he needs another badge!
This is peak Sortedfood. Battles on Sunday and earning badges, you guys are putting out great videos
It's 12 midnight and I'm laughing so hard. My roommates all woke up, saw Mike and Jamie and bursted into laughter.
Welp neighbors are gonna be mad for this
Loved the ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC, PURE, PROPERLY TRADITIONAL, VALENCIAN PAELLA that Jamie made! Perfect :P
