In general, is it a hilly town? In this video we see that downtown is not much, but I am curious about the suburbs, since this city is not far from ski resorts with many hills. Thanks!

This video brought back many fond memories of Ostersund and of the Swedish people. I was involved for many years with student exchanges between the Wargentinskolan and Scarborough Sixth Form College, North Yorkshire, England. The exchange was the high water mark of my teaching career. Bless you all.
@@brunocontents Thank you Bruno for your reply. My name is actually Steve Tipple (I am using my wife's computer, hence the appearance Christine in the above address). The last time I visited Ostersund was 13 years ago. I visited the city 4, maybe 5 times. I remember the great welcome and hospitality I received, the fine teachers and impressive student's at the Wargentinskolan. I had the pleasure of teaching the Swedish students mathematics - in English. Would you know any of the following former teachers at the Wargentinskolan: Anders Christenson, Bengt Goldberg, Anders Edland, Goran LarsSon, Lars Dahlborg? One day I will return to Ostersund.
Hur är det att bor i Östersund som en 20-30 årig kille? Är det en livad stad med mycket kroger/klubbar? Mycket killar/tjejer i sin egen ålder? Affärer osv? Mvh Mikael
@@brunocontents not long about 2 years I got 7 videos I just have made any since my great uncle pass summer on Aug 17. The month before that was my last boy dog on July 17 . When the time come I'll make some more 😃🤗
I dont know about the university and about the relations in university. be prepared to have a lot of time for your own self. I dont know the average economy in Germany but since I m living here for a year I can easily say this is an expensive place. if you got no problem with the budget for a short time of exchange can be also fun . close to a very popular ski place Åre and its also 100 km to Norwegian border , Trondheim is about 250 km . if you got some specific questions I might know I can answer . good luck
@@brunocontents the flat is sponsored by our university in germany so i wont be paying any rent as far as i know. Thanks to erasmus plus and Bafög i think money wont be that big of an issue. And even so, i will have my parents to back me up. I really would like to jog in a snowy forest if you have one there and i would like to ride one of these snowmobil vehicles and those slides with the husky dogs. Do you have something like that over there? And thanks for your help, you are a great guy. I will let you know if there are any new updates about my trip to österund

Det är antagligen helt okej men varning för att känna sig isolerad då det är såpass långt till andra städer.
