    When will a 32 inch, 4k, 1800r curved, glossy, mini LED, 165+ hz come out, I am willing to pay an inordinate amount of money it's actually insane.

    Great video, can you please give me the color calibration to make my screen look white and not yellow? I bought a similar model with another name on it, same osd, same specs!

    Frankly, "HDR" on IPS panels should be considered false marketing.

      HDR is false advertising to begin with

    finally someone talks about value of 180hz monitors, you have advantage against 144hz users but I dont think you really have dissavantage against 240hz, I think 180hz is sweetspot for most games

    The "Min Brightness" chart is somewhat misleading. It should really be called "Black Level Brightness" or something along those lines. If you're going to call yourself the "The Display Guy" you really should provide a true minimum brightness reading: nits measurement taken when the brightness of the monitor (in the OSD) is set to 0 on an all white screen.

      No.
      That makes no sense and is useless data.
      Checkerboard test is how it’s done as standard in the display industry.

      @@thedisplayguy You can call it useless data, but there's a reason it's a recorded measurement provided by the top review outlets (TFT Central, Monitors Unboxed, RTINGS, Tom's Hardware, Notebookcheck). It's something that's useful if you plan to work in a dark environment. You'll also notice that what you call "Minimum Brightness" everyone else refers to as "Black Point", "Black Level", or "Maximum Black Luminance." Notice how the word "Black" is in each of those and absent from yours.

      Man, this guy measured contrast ratio about 3900:1 on an IPS panel without local dimming. Totally cringe and misleading.

    Was does the total system latency mean? Makes me think there's TVs that perform better, like the TCL QM8

    • @C0BEX
      @C0BEX 10 месяцев назад +2

      That is the latency of the PC + the display.
