Is the the California Disneyland? I am so jelly of everyone who was there! Are you all Americans so nice? I went to DisneyLand paris recently but the people playing the characters were not nearly as open and warm as they seem here. Everything was strictly controlled and the most you could do upon meeting a character was say hi and take a picture. I wish I could go there! :(
Update: I recently went to the California Anaheim Disneyland... twice. BEST. PLACE. EVER. Happiest two days of my life! All my wishes came true... and yes, it is A TON better than the Paris resort! All the characters were so nice and warm and fantastic, definitely worth it!
I really loved this. I found the character interaction in Disneyland to be so much better than in WDW .. really enjoyed our time there ! I would love to see this sometime. :)

He likes to roam around fantasyland. The trouble is that he never stays in one spot so finding him can be difficult. Whenever I come across him it's usually by accident.
if the Hatter, who's clearly different from the animated version (and even some Pans are clearly very big), I don't know why they don't make all characters be 'face characters', must be horrible to wear those suits all day and it would be so much more fun to interact with =D
well the white rabbit because he is a rabbit but the queen of hearts because she is supposed to have a big head so its just easier using a mask for that but i agree with you it would be a lot more fun or even if they could just talk with the hat on
sorry for seeing this only now lol but the disney animated version of the queen have a big head? I think only the tim burton one has, and for the white rabbit it could be like in old alice movies where the actor used rabbit makeup, I think
not being rude or anything,but in the park is the disney animated version, which her head has a normal size. Also, in the book, the hatter has an even bigger head, in comparison to his body, and that didn't stopped them from letting him be a face character
I'm from Australia and I traveled to the states twice in the last year and a half. Both times I went to Disneyland and wanted to see Hatter / Alice / Musical Chairs and didn't see it either time! So shattered =(
Being born in California, I grew up going to Disneyland from the time I was a baby til I was twelve, and i remember my sister who is a year and nine months older than me, loved meeting the characters. As for I, I used to be terrified of them, and wouldn't as so much as go anywhere near them. If one started walking in my general direction, I'd walk as far away as I could X'D The queen of Hearts was one I was afraid of the most.
She's not out every day, and when she is she's constantly running around Fantasyland. Your best bet is to go to the info booth at the end of Main Street and see if they can tell you.
