So powerful....ephesians 1:13 says In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,....girl as soon as you heard the true gospel and believed you were given the holy spirit. I'm so glad you were able to have that amazing confirmation though. I think the more time we spend with God reading his word and praying the clearer we can understand the leading of the holy spirit. So important to read the bible every day and pray.

The word " believe", in the N.T. original greek, has a noun form and a verb form. When we hear the gospel message and believe this is the noun form. But the form of the word believe that saves us is the verb form. It's what we have come to believe in action through obedience to the gospel plan of salvation. That is repentence, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and recieving the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in" tongues" which is one spiritual language. The Holy Spirit baptism is how we recieve the Holy Spirit. Once we recieve the Holy Spirit baptism we are now " sealed". " In whom you also trusted After that you heard the Word of truth, the gospel of your salvation ;in who also After that you believed, you were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise"(Eph.1:13).

Of course after being baptised in the spirit or Washed by the blood in the beginning it's called the Honeymoon phase after that you will get that punch to the face just like I did
It depends on how you look at it. When you are spending time with God and growing, the devil will attack harder. We are not a threat to the devil when we are living a sinful life without God. I would say I did experience a “honeymoon” phase when I received the Holy Spirit, but I am not sure what you define as a “punch to the face.” I don’t think I’ve had that happened. My faith is stronger than it has ever been and like everyone else, I go through ups and downs, but God pushes me through every situation the devil throws at me. Have a blessed night!

@@j.b.productions8479 Yes, it is 100% still worth it. God doesn’t hold onto the mistakes you’ve made. You ask for forgiveness and continue growing. He’s a father of love….don’t forget that. He wants your full attention and He wants to pour into your life, but you have to realize that we live in a world full of sin….things will never be perfect for you whether you’re living with or without God in it. We sin daily, but my advice to you is to not let that be the reason you have given up on God. Because of the bad choices you’ve made. Pray for a revival in your heart consistently and you will get that.
GOD SHOWS NO PARTIALITY. HERES A QUESTION! Does God love JESUS more than he loves us???? Scripture does not support the idea that he does. In fact Jesus prayed and told the father that the same Glory that the father gave to Jesus, Jesus has now given to us. So that we may be one with God as Jesus is one with him. If You ever doubt the love God has for you, you first have to doubt the love that he had for Jesus because we are the sons of God just as he is and he shows no partiality. Note: Jesus is obv.
