I have the "Wasteland cat" version of this coming for a review soon, and I am honestly quite excited. That printing job on the keycaps looks absolutely insane.
Wow.. these reviews are actually so well put together and very helpful!! This channel is extremely underrated and quality rich. Based on the frequent uploads, I can tell that this is something that you like to do. It is crazy that you only have 3.4k!! Not only is it a great channel but it is very helpful for people getting into the keyboard hobby. Wishing you the best on your journey to the top and happy new year!!
🤣i tried to just lube the sides and not get it into the portion that makes it clicky and I failed... but it does sound nice and is more tactile now haha
@@_TheDailyShit_ ohhh did I forget to talk about the stabs? Sorry thought I had mentioned it in the video during my voice over review as I noticed the stabilizers for this board were really good compared to the stabilizers I’ve tried in other Akko boards
@@_TheDailyShit_ it's plate mount and lubed. I'll take the criticism for future videos thanks. And if a board is good then I will say it's good. If there is a flaw or problem I will say there is a problem.
@@_TheDailyShit_ well I’m sorry if you don’t like the video maybe another video will have the type of review you’re looking for but I’ll improve my reviews. Thanks 😊
You don't lube clicky switches. You absolutely don't need to lube it. The click is enough to make it what it is, plus deadens any friction sounds going on in the switch.
I think you can lube certain parts of clicky switches as long as you don't lube the bits with the bump. But yeah if you want tactile switches and you only have clicky switches and some lube and no money this is how you do it ;)
yeah, so for clicky it should only be lubing the stem sides carefully and to not get any lube on the clicky part.... but yeah I failed horribly... and now it's a light tactile switch haha

Thanks so much! glad you enjoyed the video! really trying to improve it more 😄
Ooh!! 6:16 Without the bottom foam it sounds much better! Before it was quite muffled. That alone was worth the hassle of opening it up :D
that's fair this board was truly well done sounds really great
UuUuuhh you overlubed the clickies now they sound too nice

@ if i lube clickies I only apply very but very light amounts of lube to the stem and lube the spring
@ yeah I failed hard 😢😢😢
Tell Akko to make a sub 1kg 3068 with either hotswap-able switches or thocky switches so I don't have to mod it. A black case would also be nice.
@@JFomo lol can try or they may see your comment and think about it
@@mikeytypes All good, I just ordered the new MCHOSE Ace68 in black. Maybe next time Akko 😎
Searching for Sanotrini colorway locally. Black and Gold only so far
oh not even on the Akko Global site?
안녕 and Happy New Year, Mikey! :)
happy new year!
I forgive you.
I only have two clicky boards. One has box navys the other has these creamy cyans. They are my favorite clickys.
The Cyans were my first, but yeah I don't know i'm liking this light tactile but I think i should fix it as well hahaa
How can you do a keyboard review without talking about the STABS?????
