Black is my favorite FPS game. I constantly play it. Right now, I'm playing through the Black Ops levels, the hardest ones. The game is great. I just wish they came out with a sequel.
I’m actually always surprised by how many games that still don’t run all that well on pcsx2 considering how optimized it recently became. I still have laggy gameplay with budokai tenkaichi 3 but still enjoy it even with lag.
I just tested the game with my 360 controller and everything seems to be OK. The game doesn't have ironsights, so you'll be firing from the hip anyway.
The PS2 had two USB ports, which allowed you to plug in a mouse and keyboard. Did first person shooters allow you to play them this way? Hell no! Well, Half-Life did, and maybe a couple others, but the majority forced you to struggle with using analog sticks. Not to mention that pretty much every console from that point on, used USB connections for its controllers and they STILL didn't support keyboard and mouse in FPS games. I look at these games and all I see are games I'll never play, because trying to aim with a thumbstick absolutely sucks, mapping the mous to that stick in PCSX2 never feels right.
Many of these games are actually way worse on PS2. Midnight Club 3 is locked at 30 on PCSX2, but is mostly 20 fps when playing on PS2. Not to mention much lower resolution. Also, some of these games are probably very expensive to buy for PS2. So your comment is dumb.

Good job! By the way, in order for the sky in Black to be normal, you need to run fresh boot in soft mode. Then you can switch back to hardware mode.

good list, played pc versions most of them, but i should update my pcsx2 collection, few of those not working well on win10
Medal of honor,Timesplitter lags a little but is playable
Great work! Just one thing: Medal of Honor European Assault runs 20fps on real PS2 hardware too, so it works perfect in pcsx2.

The best game on the console was TearRing Saga Berwick Saga. It's the best story, best gameplay, best graphics. It has everything. It's a must play.

how do you fix black aiming?...it just feel broken, its very hard to aim, too slow and twitchy. i use xbox controllers.

I think MoH: European Assault is capped at 25fps & not 20.
