    I am so happy I cam across this!! It was just what I was looking for. I am going to do it but add a turtle, dolphin or whale in the distance. Thank you! I will probably use glazing, open, or retarder instead of the glycerin. I read after time it could cause flaking, don't know... Thank you again

    • @GrayscalePainting
      @GrayscalePainting  2 года назад

      I’ve used glycerin for yrs, and none of my paintings flaked yet…glycerin is what they use for filler in acrylics and in fingernail polish! I appreciate you taking time to see the channel, if you are on Facebook, post your art in my page!

    I've never heard about using glycerin in acrylic painting. That's amazing!
    Your explanations are really great and you have a nice technique to create gradients and depth in the painting. Great video and painting! Thanks! I've learned a lot and will be back for more. :)

    This is beautiful !! How long does it take for the glycerin to dry completely ?

    • @GrayscalePainting
      @GrayscalePainting  2 года назад

      It depends on how much you apply, but on average, if thinly applied...give it a full day!

    • @GrayscalePainting
      @GrayscalePainting  4 года назад

      @@caryljohnjayme485, I understand... Always remember... Every type of wave has a shadow and highlight. The shadow doesn't have to be super dark, but a noticeable, depending on the type of wave. 👍🏾
