Joe, you are incredible on so many levels. First, you're an incredibly blessed and talented person. Secondly, you're ability to understand how we perceive our physical world is amazing. Thirdly, you ability and willingness to share your wisdom and talent and that you take the time to do so. You are so good at teaching.

I have always wanted to get into acrylic painting... I've played a round with it a few times in the past, but I also found it to be a expensive hobby... Not as much as oil's, but the canvases and brushes are really pricey, and being a artist, you only want the best materials to work with...
I have met many artist in my 47 years of life, and I have learned a lot of what I know today through them, and Mural Joe has been a great teacher for me, and it ain't cost me a dime! LMFAO! so thank you so much for that brotha! and I always do my best to do the same for other people who are just starting out like I did when I was just a kid...
I remember me starting out tracing everything, then I got burned out on that! and I started to draw by looking at what I was doing, then I would hide the picture and draw from memory, so I can just picture something in my mind and put on paper, and it drives my mom bonkers man! because she can't do that, but she is way better than me when it comes to making things so realistic... She won a second place at a contest with Disney, and them artist are the best! so it just lets you know her skill level... Thanks for listening everybody., and always believe in what you do, and never be afraid to ask questions and learn things from other people...

After almost a forty year absence from acrylic painting, I decided it was time to get back to it. Your videos are priceless. Your skills as a teacher in this medium are brilliant. But, your skill as an artist and your way of breaking down what is in your mind's eye is GENIUS. Thank you so much! I am sold!! Ready to get started again with your help.

So, at the beginning I was like, "uh huh, uh huh, me get it..". Then when he came to the part where he create this ring of light on the sea floor, my jaw just drop and stayed that way till the end of the video (possible cause I sped up x2). So realistic and just wow, you're amazing!

You have a real gift for teaching. I wish some of your strokes were close up so we could really see the detail.. That being said, I find that if I just take a glance at one of your videos, I end up sitting for the whole thing before I realize I had something else I was suppose to do. Thanks for these, it makes it seem possible for me to be able to do this myself. Oh, it is also the little bits of info, like how the sun rays are a result of what part of the wave they are reflecting on that are so important to understand. I love how you include those little bits of learning in your videos.
