I'm from Yugoslavia. I heard this song for the first time in the early 80s in the movie Southern Comfort and it really impressed me. I had not heard Cajun music until then. Later I found out that it was performed by the Balfa brothers in that film. In the meantime ,I also taught her to sing. ❤
