I wish they would actually tell people minimum distance to the Earth "Human" units - it would stop panic
0.002 Astronomical Units ≈ 299,195.74 Kilometres
but that's as good as you get from this video
one frame showing 0.002au is not ealy any use

What happens if it passes closer to the earth? Does it skim the atmosphere and then continue on its path away from us? Would it appear as a visible streak?
