  • Now is the right time to grow black pepper! Black peppers love rainy weathers and grow best in monsoons ✨
🌿 What container should you use?
➡️ Use pots or grow bags with good drainage to allow sufficient root growth and prevent waterlogging.
➡️ Start with small containers and transplant into bigger, deeper pots.
➡️ As black pepper plant is a vine, give it a good support with the use of trellis or large sticks.
🌰 What potting mix should I choose?
➡️ Choose well-draining soil rich in compost or well-rotted manure (cocopeat optional).
➡️ Fertilise it only before the fruiting season. We added compost + manure mix.
💧 How often do I water?
➡️ Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
➡️ Water regularly especially during summer and water once in 3-4 days in monsoon.
🌞 Where do I place my pepper plant?
➡️ Keep the plant in partial shade and ensure they get 6-8 hours of indirect sunlight daily, maintaining a warm, humid environment.
➡️ Apply mulch or cocopeat around the base of the plant in case of damp soil or to suppress weeds.
