The tragedy of dark souls games have always made me wish I could destroy all the evil in these worlds and keep the good. It never seems to work out that way though. I always end the game alone. It’s kinda like life. Your born into it alone. And you die alone.

I'd be lying if I said I don't cry every time i finish dark souls 3. It's not a sad ending, but it is an ending. We will never see another dark souls game, and it kills me. But the memories we made along the way will always be with us. And don't you dare go hollow.
Dark Souls hits different than Elden Ring, while one is total dark fantasy, the other is like high fantasy, one is solitary, dark and cold, where hope is grasped like grasping an ember, the other is full of life, glistening with brilliance and warmth, where hope its not frail and fleeting, Both gems, both goats, dark souls hits harder for me.
I know this is later however, your comment finally made me realise why I didn’t like Elden ring as much don’t get me wrong I love the but it just doesn’t feel as good for me
To me the story of Dark Souls is about a nobody who rose up, over came his fears and challenged a magnificent beings and made something of himself by his sheer will 💪🏽 very inspiring

If dark souls taught me anithing, is that if you ever lose sight of your goal, or feel like giving up..just continue to strugle, not because you have hope, but just because it is a only thing making sence

I love this way of seeing it, and I add that the tragedy of dark Souls lies in the fact that it is constantly used by everyone.
