But she's been lonely for a long time. She began to seduce the young man to be with her and imprison the spirit. She abuses her power by flooding the entire village so she won't be lonely. Because of this, the laws of the spirit world were upset, and Vaisravana, the god of Yaksha (ogres) ,Ghost, and demons, became so angry that he cursed her to remain under the river forever. The divine mantra is the mantra of Phra Phai (Vayu), the god of wind. It is a mantra that protects the journey from earth, water, wind, and fire.
She is a deity in the spiritual realm whose duty is to help cleanse souls of their karma and guide them onto the next step of reincarnation. However she has been doing this for an eternity and, as a result, has become very lonely. So what's wrong if she imprisons a few of the souls she favors? Unfortunately this action resulted in an imbalance in the realms and because the souls she kept couldn't be cleansed of their karmic cycles they began to wither away (ex. withered hands). Because of this crime she was removed from her post and banished/cursed along with her abode to remain for eternity at the bottom of the river, where she now resides in isolation, remorseful of her actions and hoping one day that someone will come and end her loneliness.
She seems to be the guardian spirit of the river. But she had violated the laws of heaven. She has taken the souls of hundreds of people as her own to keep herself from being isolated. Therefore, she was cursed by the gods to be submerged in a river, waiting for the day he would be freed And the hands you saw were the souls she had taken from people.

The short story is about the goddess of water, her duty is purify the human soul in loykratong day (thai traditional apologize to the water and cleans a bad karma) the goddess has been doing her job for eternity and she's very tired and lonely so she decided to fill her wish by deceived 5 men soul and trapped them with her by her power, so the higher god cursed her to imprison underwater alone. All the thing she did just because she wanted some love from someone and the endless echo is her crying song.😊😊😊
