I deplore the attitude of some people who write disrespectful comments . Personaly , i like to watch almost all of DERECK’s videos .i don’t always have time ,and it’s also true that i ´ m impatiently awaiting Mylene on thursday !! BUT i know it’s a lot of work and investment, so respect him !!

Mylene Farmer - Optimistique-Moi (Clip)
Great song from a great album. As this was the 4th and final single from the album, most fans would have had the song from the album. For this reason, it did not do as well as her earlier singles. However, the song is loved by her followers.
Dear Dereck, I believe you never had reacted yet to "Regrets" from Mylene (1991), it was another huge succes (and one of my favorite). A very romantic song, she performed it with another singer (Jean-Louis Murat - I discovered him in this one, such a sexy voice !^^), you might love it ! ;)

Surprised you didn’t pick up on the story of the video. It’s about home abuse. You see the father with the belt attacking his child that’s why she was hiding in the closet. She built a relationship with the insects as they are her only friends. Then want to become one and then ate sugars , cocun then became one herself and you can see the dad crying the loss of her daughter.
This needs to be higher up!!

Anamorphosée was a big change, a transition comparing to what she did before... Stronger voice, rockier, But that's the only one because from innamoramento already she went back to more "mylene style"
That's why it's my favourite album of all time, it's everything that I love and the rock style is so perfect with her voice ♥ But still loves what she did before and after

The video tells the story of an abused girl that seeks refuge in the world of insects while locked in the closet to avoid her abusive father until little by little she becomes one and gets the power she needs to free herself. Great story for the album theme!

ah! you tell me that song didn't go very well. I am amazed because it is a very good song of myléne and the whole album 'anamorphosée' is of the same accabit.

Au départ j'aimais bien également le concept qui était de "revisiter des morceaux essentiellement des années 80", mais que ça en déplaise à certain(e)s, c'est quand même globalement du Fan Service pro Mylène Farmer.

Hi Dereck! Thanks for your react on Mylène Farmer. Comme J'Ai Mal ( It Hurts So Much) is the fourth single of her fourth album "Anamorphosée" released in August 6, 1996.
It will be ranked no.11 in Top 50 and sold in 90'000 copies and the song will be the fifth most broadcast title in France the last week of July.
The videoclip was directed by Marcus Nispel who worked on XXL and l'Instant X in 1995, shot August 28-29, 1996 in L.A.
It deals with the complex relationship between its body and its soul. Mylène needs to transform to be in harmony with her soul.
She makes a reference to a poem by Pierre Reverdy by borrowing a line from him ("Je Te Laisse Parce Que Je T'Aime"), an author she will frequently use in her lyrics.
