The show is 15 episodes, the quality of the vfx and cinematography will continue throughout the season. The vfx are being done by Zoic Studios that have done Marvel movies and Disney+/Netflix shows. It's confirmed to be part of the Arrowverse, it's Earth-Prime, all the changes are just a side effect of Crisis.
List of Post-Crisis changes so far: 1. Clark and Lois married back in the 2000s; Pre-Crisis, he proposed in 2018. 2. Jonathan Kent was born with a twin brother in 2007, instead of 2019 without a twin. 3. Morgan Edge isn't in jail. In Season 3 (Supergirl), Edge was arrested after Lena Luthor proved he was trying to kill her in a double trap for her stepmother. In the new multiverse Morgan Edge never went to jail, and owns the Daily Planet, which has resulted in a number of layoffs of staff, including Clark. 4. Sam Lane is aware of Superman's real identity and has a device to call him. Clark gets along well with him; unlike Pre-Crisis, where Sam isn't aware of Clark's secret identity and is xenophobic of aliens. 5. Pre-Crisis, Clark was wrapped in a blanket when he was sent to the Earth of Earth-38. Post-Crisis, he was not wearing anything when he was sent to the Earth of Earth-Prime. 6. Pre-Crisis, Clark was unwilling to work with any form of government assistance due to Project Cadmus. Post-Crisis, Clark works with his father-in-law and his army when necessary. Since Lex owns the D.E.O. on Earth-Prime and never had a feud with Superman, Lillian likely had no reason to found Cadmus.
So first off I love the boys names. Obviously we have the classic Jonathan Kent but Jordan is a cheeky little way of naming the other boy after Jor-El. On the Morgan Edge side of things. They said he was retrofitting the coal mines and getting workers back. But I am more thinking he's digging around looking for Kryptonite in Smallville. I am excited to get more backstory on this new Luthor.
My theory is that Captain Luther is possibly a hero from a world where Superman was the evil. Explains why he is a captain. The ending was a cool touch as Superman lost their battle, but goes home with a family and a happy ending with sunset. While luthor goes back to his ship all alone, in the middle of nowhere In the mountains. The score when he was walking on the snow was a very sad lonely tone. I think they’re gonna flesh him out
@@2323stickboy Worth noting that Captain Luthor did nothing to stop Superman saving the plants, though. I more meant my agreement that Captain Luthor comes from a world where Superman isn't good than one where Luthor is good.
Here are my thoughts 1) Most Superman thing ever - giving the kid his hat back at the start there. 2) Jonathan might have powers just peak human 3) With Jordan havig anxitety disorder I wonder if he had supersenses as a child and didn't know it. Imagine having super-hearing and thinking you hear voices or x-ray. He even says the barn was the first time he felt in control. 4) People think Jordan might be the one who goes bad but what if it is Jonathoan feelin jealous 5) The two actors playing the brothers are good. Superman can hear in space. Sound doesn't travel very well through space due to the lack of particles and molecules that allow sound waves to travel. Normal humans in no way can hear anything in space due to the very very low frequency of sound waves that might make it out there. BUT superman has super hearing, which probably allows him to hear those vibrations where normal humans cannot. He can't probably hear someone talking on the planet, but a volcano, earthquake, etc that sends shockwaves he can probably hear that. Maybe some other very very large sounds or noises.
Jonathan might get his powers, clark said he checked to see if they would have powers which came out negative but then jordan's powers manifested once he was pushed.
I didn't know what to expect but was AMAZED by Pilot. Plus casting an African American actor as mystery Luthor makes it easy to see it's not to Lex Luthor that we know but parallel universe Luthor. Well played 👏
Morgan Edge is now Superman’s Villain after the Crisis Event. He was just a main villain throughout DC Universe but it changed when the world changed to Earth prime. He’s also one of the Leaders of Intergang!... Cant wait to see who portrays him in this series! He could be the one who Hires Clark to his WGBS TV Network since he probably Bought the Daily Planet and had Clark Fired just so he can take him for himself!
I think Johnathan will develop the physical abilities, strength, speed, jump buildings in a single bound kind of like superboy in young justice. Jordan’s abilities will be heat vision, X-ray vision and super senses.
I'm sure I'm way off, but I'm thinking that both the boys have powers, but neither has a full compliment. We've seen that Jordan has invulnerbility and heat vision, I think Jon might develop the strength and speed, as he's already been shown to possibly be stronger and faster than his peers. The next question would be which get the super senses, which gets the super breath?
My guess is this Luthor is Alexander Luthor, the son of the heroic Luthor of Earth 3. Remember that Earth 3 us where the Crime Syndicate live, and they were often at war with the Luthor family. Ultraman particularly hated the Luthors. I believe the Lois Lane of that world (Superwoman) is his mother.
If this is Earth Prime, why wasn't Kara at Martha's funeral? I can't imagine her not being there otherwise. This feels like a different Earth, like Stargirl.
It is already tied into the Arrowverse. Rewatch the ending of Crisis when Lois calls Clark and tells him there's trouble with the boys or something and he was like, boys? Yes, your sons.
I'm really excited to learn more about Captain Luthor. I would say that is probably what I'm the most excited about with this show But the Fleischer suit? Wasn't expecting to see that suit in live action like ever

Great that you guys loved this premiere. I loved the hell out of it. Also we are not getting a crossover this year , but we are getting David ramsey returning as John diggle in Batwoman, Supergirl, Superman and lois, The Flash & a mysterious charecter in Legends of tomorrow. Also John Wesley shipp is returning as The Flash in Stargirl.
Speaking of crossovers, there was originally supposed to be a two part crossover on Batwoman and Superman & Lois, featuring multiple Arrowverse characters, but Batwoman showrunner Caroline Dries confirmed those plans were scrapped because of COVID-19.
Love your reaction to this show so much I come back after watching ep.7 just to listen to your thought on Luther and it 's so funny because we all been fool by the show 🤣

So David Ramsey's John Diggle is supposed to be appearing in all of the CW shows this season (except probably Stargirl), including Superman and Lois. So they're not avoiding the rest of the now called CW-verse, they're just not making it a super big thing. But there was supposed to be a cameo with this and Batwoman season 2, which was cancelled due to Covid-19. Stargirl season 2 is also said to have John Wesley Shipp Jay Garrick, quote "bringing it into the Arrowverse".
I think this is a pre-crisis Luthor who came from a earth where they were friends who worked with each other until something happened to lois and it caused him to go evil. Luthor survived crisis and found himself on this earth and has decided that a superman on any earth is too powerful and will eventually become evil.
Guys this Luthor is obviously from a pre crisis world that was destroyed or multiverse unless Earth prime Lex has a black brother or son nobody knew about 😆
One other thing I just thought of: If I'm not mistaken, the only other instance where Clark/Superman has more than one child or twins (a boy and a girl) is in John Byrne's Elseworlds series, Generations. And in that reality, his son was born without powers and apparently dies in 'Nam, where he was seduced by Lex Luthor to take revenge on his father and help Luthor kill him. Luthor went so far as to adopt Jason(?), only to kill him later on when Jason(?) failed to kill his own father. Maybe the writers of the show decided to go this way, instead of the alternative Earth way?
Watched it with boyfriend and he said " Clark is a brunette, Lois is a brunette, Jordan is a brunette and Jonathan is blonde-ish. Good thing the boys are twins or else Lois has been banging the Green Arrow from Smallville."
Parents who are Brunette can have a blond baby if they carry the recessive blond gene. So Jonathan being blond is completely normal even though its rare.
