kit wise ruan mei is more like kazuha of hsr but the way ppl saying how trash he is (i was one of em) is literally kazuha situation all over again (esp since his va is kazuha va, makes it more funny). Hes def better than ppl think even tho he got rlly nerfed hes still strong.

I have Kafka, was planning to get the guy for her, and personally i prefer hasbandos over waifus (i got Kafka accidentally when i tried to get Sampo cons), that's why i would have pulled for him regardless. I was suprised when i tried him on the newest story quest, my Acheron usually deals 300k-400k dmg on normal battle, but with JQ, she deals almost 900k (E0S1 btw). Probs going to pull him, and i like foxians too :3

Playing him as trial in Story changed my mind tho.. Previously I thought I don't need him, now I'm in doubt again.. My Acheron E2 ult who usually do around 400k-500k++ do around 800k with JQ trial 😱😱
Seriously I didn't know how strong he makes my Acheron was until I tried him with E0S1 Acheron in the story. He makes her ult goes so fast and her numbers similar to E2S1 Acheron.
Just want to note you must have energy rope for 3t ult with skill-basic-skill Without energy rope you need to skill every turn and also get hit once to have 3t ult.
If you use pela and tutorial lc on jiaoqiu you get 100 point for your ult with skill-basic- skill . His ult need 100 so you can use atk rope without problem ! Of course if you use his lc you need regen rope

I wouldn't recommend using Jiaoqiu (or any other debuffer/dps/subdps for that matter) in a team with characters like Lunae who eat up lots of skill points. But yes, you can use jiaoqiu in teams that aren't DoT related and without other debuffers, he just has to either make up for the fact that he'd be the only debuffer or be a dps with a support or two. Hope this helps. :>
JQ with Dr Ratio is okay, DHIL not really. He is just a good debuffer, but only really if you can use another part of his kit as well (ratio/acheron for debuffs, kafka/BS for DOT)

the Effect hit rate on this light cone is conditional on his skill which isn't really needed and he doesn't really need more attack, so while you could use it, its not a great option.

I got Sparkle from her first banner. I’d say she is close to a must pull IF you have Imbibitor Lunae and like to play with him. They work amazing together as she takes away all the hassle of skill points. Without DHIL she’s not nearly as needed. Don’t get me wrong, she is perfectly good in other teams too. But there are now so many great harmony characters. If you have others, Sparkle isn’t so important for your account any more. So get her for DHIL, if you lack a good 5star harmony character or if you like her character :) Don’t know about Jiaoqiu more than what the CCs are saying. Maybe you can wait few days to see the final verdict after he’s released?
I would say Jiaoqiu is better for your account even if you don't want to main Acheron he work with every single team in the game Vulnerability is rare debuff.

Jiaoqiu doubles Acheron's damage compared to others, so it's probably would be useful to get him. But I advise trying him out in the story and see how much more damage he adds.
This upcoming banner will test my luck. As a F2P E2S1 acheron owner, my target is to get sparkle and her LC, then get jiaoqiu and his LC too. I currently have 34k jades + 16 pulls + 105 pulls from starlight exchange in shop. Hope i win my 50/50 and 75/25 so i could save for lingsha when her banner drops (i also want her for my E2S1 FF team). Wish me luck 🙏
I have E1S1 Acheron in my f2p acct. Alongside, I use E6 pela w/o resolution, E0S0 Sparkle, sustain. I never did the 2 nihilities but I'm still able to clear MoC and AS no sweat. I'm not saying Jiaoqiu is not an upgrade to the team but Sparkle does wonders with dmg and stack gen due to ult uptime, plus she's very SP positive. So I say you're in a very tough spot if you don't have both Sparkle and JQ. If you have Resolution LC for pela and trend LC for a tank then I say go for spakle because you're planning to go for Acheron E2. If you want both go for Sparkle banner first, who knows you might get her early then you have the option to go all in with JQ, considering you win both 50/50 that is. On my main I have E2S1 Acheron, E6 Pela with resolution at 163 Spd, E0S0 Sparkle at 163 Spd, E0S0 Aventurine. I'm not bragging. I'm just saying my Acheron ult uptime is insane making it like I don't really need Jiaoqiu and making me go for Acheron E6 instead then just get E1S1 JQ on his rerun.

I just wanted to ask if I should pull for black swan in her awaited rerun in 2.5 or for Jiaoqiu. Acheron: If no E6 Pela and no SW or Welt, then yes. (Assuming Acheron isn’t E2, if E2, you don’t really need him if you have E6 Pela, SW, or Welt. DoT: If no Ruan Mei, or Robin, then yes. If you fulfill the Acheron one, then still get, as he is still better than RM and Robin.

They totally forgot that Black Swan skill has def reduction which can help Acheron get more damage I agree when you put Acheron, Black Swan, Jiaoqiu and Aventurine as the best Acheron team line up. The same you put Kafka, Black Swan, Jiaoqiu and Huohuo. This the line up i have realised when the leaks comes out that probably the best build up for these team combo My account has build for Nihility team. With additional of Jiaoqiu will add more option and flexibility on my Nihility team
Bro..the def reduction only works for Black Swan only It's bcs it's the dmg procs that ignore defense,it doesn't reduce the defense of enemies, it's the dot procs that ignore defense. Pela is far more better than Black swan

One for the debuff and one for DoT But, I prefer include Black Swan in my Acheron team because her talent after entering the battle that allows enemies received her Arcana that give stack faster to Acheron

@@Fishextraordinairewell it really depends on the content that you're trying to clear tbh, since at certain times you're opting for a higher damage ceiling, but for other modes like MOC where you need to keep your characters alive it's vital to have a sustain. In the case of Jiaoqui, since he's a nihility sustainer, its like keeping that 3 nihility team comp you're aiming for but still having the perks of a healer in your team. Although like Gallagher you'll need to consider your rotations especially when you need your heals when necessary. In short if you're aiming for higher overall damage, pull for Jiaoqui since he not only buffs the ultimate damage of your acheron, he's basically a sustain while having the class of a nihility to get that requirement for Acheron if you don't have her at e2 already, additionally you'll be increasing your overall team damage since he can kinda act like a sub-dps since his kit scales off of EHR converting it into Attack! But if you already have a decent lineup that can clear most content like you've mentioned you have SW and PELA already so i think you're good to go, the only issue with that would be there's no tailor made sustain for Acheron that fits her archetype, that's precisely why Jiaoqui fits with Acheron so well! Now instead of being forced to have 2 other Nihility characters in your team comps you can just slap in Jiaoqui and then add Pela and maybe even add another Nihility battery that can fasten the rate of your Acheron's stacks! In MOC i recommend having Acheron, 2 Nihility Characters (if not e2), and then a sustainer But since Jiaoqui exists now you can just do Acheron, 1 Nihility, Jiaoqui and slap in Sparkle for that high crit damage and action forward boost! In Pure Fiction however I'd actually recommend not running a sustainer at all lol! Since you'd just need the enemies to be dead as fast as possible having faster build up of Acheron's Ultimate Stacks is the way to go! The kit Jiaoqui has can be seen as pretty underwhelming but compared to current available units, he fits the job well and is made for Acheron!

@@ReggaementJiaoqiu is tailor made for Acheron and is her best teammate especially at e0. Black Swan is good but she's for traditional DoT comps with Kafka. Jiaoqiu also has DoT too.
If you want to focus only on Acheron team, Jiaoqiu. If you want/have DOT units and want Black Swan to make it stronger, go BS because she can be use for DOT and Acheron team (AOE content as well) But Jiaoqiu would still be better for boosting your Acheron.
jiaoqiu is more universal than black swan since he can work with non dot/acheron teams but it really depends on ur needs atm and ur characters, i wish you luck either way

In my personal opinion, if you have Gallagher E6 pretty built you could go for Jiaoqiu. Another way to look at it is which team of yours needs more investment rn? Acheron or Firefly? Take in account which one does more damage and need a replacement in their team.
Jiaoqiu. At least right now, Lingsha isn't looking like an insane upgrade over Gallagher. Could very easily change later but regardless of that, Gallagher is already a very good unit.
If you have e2 acheron i would go for JQ. Gallagher is already so good at sustaining and giving FF a one turn ult with QPQ. If you can also get sparkle then youre done pulling for quite a while

Kinda? In a DoT comp, he would replace Ruan Mei, not Black Swan so it's a bit strange to compare him with BS. If you plan on getting Black Swan, I would say she's more important than Jiaoqiu in a DoT comp. The reason why Kafka is a T0 unit is primarily because of Black Swan. The team should still be pretty functionable with just Kafka and Jiaoqiu though, it just won't be as good. There's a few other situations where I think Jiaoqiu will be a more valuable pull: 1. You have Boothill/Firefly/or any other break DPS. Those teams would want Ruan Mei but Ruan Mei is pretty glued to DoT teams as well if you want to run that. However, because Jiaoqiu is a sidegrade to Ruan Mei for DoT, you can slot him for DoT instead and put Ruan Mei on your break team. 2. If you have Acheron. That's a given since he is made to be Acheron's strongest support. 3. If you want to run him in place of Topaz in the IPC fua team. IPC fua team is already very expensive since all of them are limited 5 stars, even though Ratio was free. However, Topaz needs to be e1s1 in order to give Ratio enough debuffs to land the fua every single time. There's also a showcase proving that Jiaoqiu is better than Topaz in the team comp, especially at lower investment levels.
It appears that Feixiao needs a Robin. P.S.: Try save for JQ's LC. It's crazy, especially on Black Swan (Swan stares at Pela, and tells her look, I'm Pela now)
Of course Feixiao, IF you have topaz E0S1, ruan mei, aventurine, lingsha, sparkle, bronya, yukong,.... Robin is good but not a must if you don't have her. Heck, Im going to run feixiao topaz dr ratio aventurine/lingsha cause why not?

Should I get jiaoqiu when I already have 3 debuffers SW/Pela/BS for ache with gallagher
Or should I get Feixiao with her lc and potentially create a team with sustains lynx/gallagher/huohuo, mei, and sub dpses march/moze/clara
Get feixiao .. she will help you a lot with your account .. i can guarantee that .. she is acheron, Firefly tier or maybe higher as of right now .. unless she got nerf

I just wanted to ask if I should pull for black swan in her awaited rerun in 2.5 or for Jiaoqiu. My planned team was Acheron, Kafka, Black swan/Jiaoqiu and Aventurine (yeah I really wanna use Dotcheron because I like Kafka and don't wanna abandon her). The more concerning thing for me is the damage. Which team would do more damage? Just wanna collect some opinions
imo BS, because outside of that team, kafka is better paired with BS

Jiaoqiu is just generally really good for Acheron, so whether its for acheron DOT or acheron standard it is good

Acheron: If no E6 Pela and no SW or Welt, then yes. (Assuming Acheron isn’t E2, if E2, you don’t really need him if you have E6 Pela, SW, or Welt.
DoT: If no Ruan Mei, or Robin, then yes. If you fulfill the Acheron one, then still get, as he is still better than RM and Robin.

I have make a line up like Acheron, Black Swan, Guinaifen and Aventurine and i can get 400k+ damage in normal battle. I replace Guinaifen with Pela can go up to 500k+ damage
Some say Black Swan are not the best support/sub DPS for Acheron. They totally forgot that Black Swan skill has def reduction which can help Acheron get more damage
I agree when you put Acheron, Black Swan, Jiaoqiu and Aventurine as the best Acheron team line up. The same you put Kafka, Black Swan, Jiaoqiu and Huohuo. This the line up i have realised when the leaks comes out that probably the best build up for these team combo
My account has build for Nihility team. With additional of Jiaoqiu will add more option and flexibility on my Nihility team

It's bcs it's the dmg procs that ignore defense,it doesn't reduce the defense of enemies, it's the dot procs that ignore defense.
Pela is far more better than Black swan

But, I prefer include Black Swan in my Acheron team because her talent after entering the battle that allows enemies received her Arcana that give stack faster to Acheron

@@Fishextraordinairewell it really depends on the content that you're trying to clear tbh, since at certain times you're opting for a higher damage ceiling, but for other modes like MOC where you need to keep your characters alive it's vital to have a sustain.
In the case of Jiaoqui, since he's a nihility sustainer, its like keeping that 3 nihility team comp you're aiming for but still having the perks of a healer in your team. Although like Gallagher you'll need to consider your rotations especially when you need your heals when necessary.
In short if you're aiming for higher overall damage, pull for Jiaoqui since he not only buffs the ultimate damage of your acheron, he's basically a sustain while having the class of a nihility to get that requirement for Acheron if you don't have her at e2 already, additionally you'll be increasing your overall team damage since he can kinda act like a sub-dps since his kit scales off of EHR converting it into Attack!
But if you already have a decent lineup that can clear most content like you've mentioned you have SW and PELA already so i think you're good to go, the only issue with that would be there's no tailor made sustain for Acheron that fits her archetype, that's precisely why Jiaoqui fits with Acheron so well! Now instead of being forced to have 2 other Nihility characters in your team comps you can just slap in Jiaoqui and then add Pela and maybe even add another Nihility battery that can fasten the rate of your Acheron's stacks!
In MOC i recommend having Acheron, 2 Nihility Characters (if not e2), and then a sustainer
But since Jiaoqui exists now you can just do Acheron, 1 Nihility, Jiaoqui and slap in Sparkle for that high crit damage and action forward boost!
In Pure Fiction however I'd actually recommend not running a sustainer at all lol! Since you'd just need the enemies to be dead as fast as possible having faster build up of Acheron's Ultimate Stacks is the way to go!
The kit Jiaoqui has can be seen as pretty underwhelming but compared to current available units, he fits the job well and is made for Acheron!

@@ReggaementJiaoqiu is tailor made for Acheron and is her best teammate especially at e0. Black Swan is good but she's for traditional DoT comps with Kafka. Jiaoqiu also has DoT too.
If you dont have any 5 star sustains, yes get Huohuo. If you already have one 5 star sustain and gallagher, no save for whoever else.
For the Acheron team do we need 2 debuffer or is he good enough to solo?
the 2 nihility is for Acheron's major trace, so no, you would still want 2 nihilty with sparkle being okay too

If you want to focus only on Acheron team, Jiaoqiu. If you want/have DOT units and want Black Swan to make it stronger, go BS because she can be use for DOT and Acheron team (AOE content as well) But Jiaoqiu would still be better for boosting your Acheron.

In my personal opinion, if you have Gallagher E6 pretty built you could go for Jiaoqiu. Another way to look at it is which team of yours needs more investment rn? Acheron or Firefly? Take in account which one does more damage and need a replacement in their team.

Jiaoqiu. At least right now, Lingsha isn't looking like an insane upgrade over Gallagher. Could very easily change later but regardless of that, Gallagher is already a very good unit.
If you have e2 acheron i would go for JQ. Gallagher is already so good at sustaining and giving FF a one turn ult with QPQ. If you can also get sparkle then youre done pulling for quite a while

Prisoner is his best relic set. Most of us are going for just 134 speed, it's plenty. Hackerspace is a waste.

Not really, my Jiaoqiu build has 161 SPD, 136% EHR, with 2 prisoneer and 2 hackerspace, hyperseed character is the most comfortable with Acheron

Kinda? In a DoT comp, he would replace Ruan Mei, not Black Swan so it's a bit strange to compare him with BS. If you plan on getting Black Swan, I would say she's more important than Jiaoqiu in a DoT comp. The reason why Kafka is a T0 unit is primarily because of Black Swan. The team should still be pretty functionable with just Kafka and Jiaoqiu though, it just won't be as good. There's a few other situations where I think Jiaoqiu will be a more valuable pull:
1. You have Boothill/Firefly/or any other break DPS. Those teams would want Ruan Mei but Ruan Mei is pretty glued to DoT teams as well if you want to run that. However, because Jiaoqiu is a sidegrade to Ruan Mei for DoT, you can slot him for DoT instead and put Ruan Mei on your break team.
2. If you have Acheron. That's a given since he is made to be Acheron's strongest support.
3. If you want to run him in place of Topaz in the IPC fua team. IPC fua team is already very expensive since all of them are limited 5 stars, even though Ratio was free. However, Topaz needs to be e1s1 in order to give Ratio enough debuffs to land the fua every single time. There's also a showcase proving that Jiaoqiu is better than Topaz in the team comp, especially at lower investment levels.
if you plan to use him outside of that team as well, then yes, otherwise just get black swan, her re run is coming soon
