Sugar was a cute little thing. Great with horses. Saw her in a couple of Westerns.
But consider Tom Keene's last movie, "Plan 9 From Outer Space".
Apparently, as even those in Hollywood were going off to war, it was left to their children to make these movies. And that stairway that led up to a window (49:30) was quite a special effect for it's time.
Only in America could a good ole Italian boy play a Mexican in one movie and a Frenchman in another.
