Cattleman Jim Dawson is shot down by gunmen employed by his own half-brother, Jay Lynch. With a forged will, Lynch "inherits" his brother's ranch, some of the most valuable land in the county. But when he tries to take possession, Dawson's daughters, Betty and Sugar, refuse to be evicted from their home. The women have also hired tough-as-nails cowpoke Tom Sterling, who is more than capable of keeping Lynch's gun slingers at bay. It becomes evident, ownership of the Dawson ranch will not be decided in a court of law, but by blazing lead.stants can win up to $10,000 by correctly answering a sequence of four questions, and if they say a "secret word" they win $100 bonus!

*During his almost 40-year career in motion pictures Tom Keene worked under three different names. From 1923, when he made his first picture, until 1930 he worked under his real name George Duryea. The last film he made under this name was Pardon My Gun. Beginning with the 1930 film Tol'able David, he used Tom Keene as his moniker. This name he used up to 1944 when he changed it to Richard Powers. The first film he used this name in was Up in Arms. He continued to use this name for the rest of his film career.*
He was no relation to the actor Dan Duryea.
Thanks for sharing, I wondered if he had a name change, I recognized his voice.
I got interested in his works after watching "The Glory Trail", a great "Story", and a more professional Direction and Production.
Directors can make a good story a great movie and get a great performance from a mediocre actor.

Tom Keene did not do stunts...that was Tom Steele...Kenne Duncan did become an expert with firearms and had a Trick Shooting show that he barnstormed all over the country...
If they got rid of his sidekick the movie would be a lot better. at least he doesn't ride off with the woman, he just rides off into whatever on his horse. they have come a long way since this one was made. Good grade B movie
Ken Duncan later became Tom Steele ( The greatest Stunt man that Hollywood ever had< He did all the the stunts for "the Mask Marvel"!
