@@WayneARobertson No, it wont allow me to click on it and activate it. I have the "Activate bluetooth" option but when scrolling down to it, it will just skip right over. Replaced aux and main bettery, but still no help.
Their is a picture of a phone on your steering. You push it up I believe, or press it when an incoming call is coming in. The microphone is automatically turned on when you press or select the phone button. You might have to push the lever up to answer calls. You can experiment by have someone call you.
Yes it does. If you have a media player on your cell phone, you launch your music and press the media button on center dash on the car. Make sure your cell phone is highlighted on your MB Screen and it will play your music.
You first have to wait for the phone to connect to the Bluetooth and then the music comes. That is normal. It also depends on what type of music player you have on your phone. If it is anything that I have on my phone, I set the app to Autoplay after the car turns on, where their is virtually very little delay. The name of my app is called Music Player
Thank you for this, Any idea why our Car's system is not able to connect to the Internet ? Internet connection sharing via bluetooth has been turned on (Samsung Galaxy A72), Phone has been connected to the vehicle as per your video instructions above, Whether I try and connect using the online maps function, or Internet Apps / Internet Radio, the screen remains on "Establishing Connection" for a long time. Its a 2013 W222 S500, Have tried to engage the Local dealer in Kenya with no luck unfortunately.
I have never connected the car to the internet using bluetooth. If you want to enable wifi sharing in your car, you can do it through your phone hotstop so people can use the internet, Bluetooth is more for the phone to use in the car while driving. The only other way to have internet built into the car is subscribing to MBRACE through the dealership but not all Mercedes have this feature, You will need to call them and give them your VIN number to know for sure.
@@WayneARobertson thank you for your quick and kind response, I really appreciate. I wanted to see the online maps interface and what internet apps were available since the infotainment system has these options, I'll keep pressing the dealer for this, especially MBRACE which is something new to me

Hey so I’m trying to play music and I have the phone connected but it’s still not working. I can call. Do I need to use a cord?
No you do not need a cord. Did you turn up the volume on your phone? Did you try playing music on your phone so it can come through on your car?
Any idea why i'm not able to click the "Activate Bluetooth" box? Just skips over it when trying to select.
Is the Bluetooth option enabled on your car settings?

@sbthatkid8717 It almost sounds like you don't have that option at all. If you have a scanner you can definitely check to see what is going on
HI Wayne , Looks like the car's Microphone for me in not switched on , how to do please ? tia.

I can’t connect to bluetooth do you know how to solve the problem? Mercedes s class w222 2014 350d? My mobile phone is iPhone X
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled and turned on in the car. You can search for a phone from the car or you can search for your car from the cell phone.
does it play audio after doing this ? or is that separate ?
Yes it does. If you have a media player on your cell phone, you launch your music and press the media button on center dash on the car. Make sure your cell phone is highlighted on your MB Screen and it will play your music.
@@WayneARobertson thanks, was sitting in one earlier trying to figure out why our phones weren't showing
