Pony Island is a video game developed and published by Canadian indie developer Daniel Mullins. As a metafictional game, the game has the player interact with what appears to be an old arcade cabinet game called "Pony Island". The player soon discovers the game is corrupted by Lucifer himself, who is trying to claim the player's soul. The player is aided by the soul of a previous player who helps the player access Pony Island's internal programming to get around the traps left by Lucifer and save not only his soul, but the many tormented souls that are trapped within the game's code.

I feel like the game knew exactly what it was doing by calling you by your answer, it's obvious that people would write troll answer when allowed to type freely

The fact that Kevin went straight for the options and messed with it is what made the game have this gray atmosphere. If he had started from the get go, he'd have gotten a really flowery and colourful jumping pony game, if I do remember well.
seeing Kevin aggressively wave his fist to both heaven and hell saying "one of these days" cracked me up so much, caught me off guard with the second time🤣🤣

If you see this Kevin I would recommend you play LISA: The Painful. It's another game with horror aspects, although this one is an RPG, which completely fits your kind of humor. If anyone's actually played the game and seen the scene with Horace's orphanage, you'll know why.
This is absolutely what computers look like to my mom, I feel so much more sympathy for her now

I feel like this game has the same problem solving skills as the game, "There Is No Game."

Pony Island got me into horror games and it's still one of my favourites to this day so I'm super happy that you had so much fun with the game, even though it is a little cryptic and confusing from time to time. Really love to see you branch out a little with all these unique games here and there!

inscryption, a horror/thriller card game, is also from this developer and it's very interesting and worthy of a go and more attention. it takes a while to grasp the rules and it's definitely not a game for one casual video, unless someone's not interested in completing it. but it's very worth it to complete it

You should really play inscription, it’s not like your usual content but in my opinion it’s an AMAZING game so even if you don’t play it on camera maybe just check it out to see if you would like to play it! (It’s made by the same people who made pony island but it’s not too similar!)

YES!!! You have to try the Hex next. These are so good.
This game kinda reminds me of the Talos Principle. I played it a couple years back and it had the same basic thing. you had "God" trying to steer you toward the "right" path and then there was a AI that used to be a person that kept telling you that "God" was wrong and to do other things to break out of the game. It was trippy but really cool to play.

A game that seems cheerful but sinister underneath along with code and file stuff and glitches is exactly what Doki Doki Literature Club is and that's a great game! There were some media shares and Kevin didn't know it which is even better!
No matter how many playthroughs of this game I see, people getting caught on the naming prompt and stuck with whatever non-name reply they tried to give for the rest of the game never fails to crack me up.

I love Pony Island! All of the Daniel Mullins games are really great, I wish more people played The Hex tho because it always gets overlooked but it's just as solid as Pony Island and Inscryption
