You mean Clara Clayton. In the original time line, Clara was supposed to die by falling into the ravine so Doc marrying Clara and bringing her into the present with their kids causes less of a disruption to the timeline between 1885 and 1985 than had they all remained in the past.

Funny how when I was a kid back when this first aired I fondly remember the show and when I bought the DVD box set in 2002 *which I still own in good coblndition... well the dvds* it just show happened one of the local channels decided to rerun the animated series briefly around that time...its almost like they knew releasing all 3 back to the future movies in one box set back in 2002 would spark an interested un rewatching it...well I did haven't seen the show since but still a great animated "what if?" Counter part to a great trilogy.

God I love this series and don't care what anyone else thinks. I consider it fun and educational not to mention one of the best cartoon shows based on a live action movie. It even won 4 awards and even launched Bill Nyes tv career in science. At least Christopher Lloyd plays Doc in the live action segments which is fun. This was one of the funnest educational shows I watched as a kid next to others such as Beakmans World, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Eyewitness (based on the books), and The Magic Schoolbus. Great times
