Sad to see a band of brothers broken because of the greed of their parents. It has been great following their story. The series to me wasn't just about the love between Ling and Quin Chen, it was watching the brother's obvious love for each other even though growing up in an environment that constantly pitted them against each other. I made my sons watch this so that God forbid any day I or their father decides to be foolish they should never allow us come between them. Kudos to the team that produced this. The costumes where amazing, script well written and the cast where like wow. Whoever is responsible for picking the actors that played the brothers did an awesome job. The soundtrack got me singing Chinese 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 also loved the ending, so many crazy things going on in the world right now I guess we all need to escape into another world that has a happy ending

Ending of 2023 and still this drama series is 🔥🔥🔥. One of my favorite Chinese Drama series of all time after only princess agents, nirvana in fire, story of minglan and the wolf. Cant believe I finished this movie within a week. Very interesting. ❤️❤️❤️
Prince Zhan really redeemed himself in this life ❤... this is the first drama I've fully fallen in love with the second lead (even though I still ship the main couple together)
This drama was exquisite! I enjoyed Qing Chen's schemes to give up her love for the sake of enthroning Yuan Ling. Not to mention that the side love stories were a delightful way to keep us in our toes following this drama. A pity we didn't get to see Yuan Che and Yin Cai Qian reuniting after war. In addition, leaving the throne to Yuan Zhan to prevent bloodshed among brothers/cousins was for the best. Yuan Ling realized he couldn't have both love and the empire. And while Qing Chen selflessly offered her utmost support to reign, Yuan Ling chose her. So in the end, they stripped themselves of their positions to roam the world together. A pity Yuan Zhan couldn't find his soulmate. Instead he took on the responsibility of looking after all the people of Wei. Kudos for him.
There was another drama on its own - the extention of Yuan Che (Simon Gong) and Yin Cai Qian story. I forgot the title though. Search extension of Lost Love in Time or put Simon Gong drama list.
while watching Zhan standing looking at the flowers, I was wishing there would be another Qing Chen to be with him as Empress. It would be much more beautiful and happy ending for everyone. I really love the story.
My heart goes to Prince Zhan, He has everything that man can have in the world except the woman that he really care and love....deep inside he is really a heart broken and lonely.....

I really like this show, but there are a number of things I would change. Starting with Zhan. Still it's a series that I keep coming back to because of the believable connection between the leads. She's no simp and although they both trade playing the part of noble idiot, he stands with her not one step ahead of her. An actual partnership, unlike most dramas.
Perfect ending👌 prince ling, prince Zhang, prince li, prince che, I like all of them. They played their role very well. Prince ling, he was really a god of war and righteous person. Prince zhang was softhearted and kind man and also most suitable for throne. He gave me a thought what true love means that you should not return back the same thing. I really admire him. prince che and prince li are cute in their own way. Qing Chen was a brave and fearless lady.totally perfect plot.
I would love to see a drama with Shishi and Joe as the love interest. I was rooting for Qing Chen and Yuan Ling till the end but I also fell in love with Qing Chen and Yuan Zhan's chemistry. Liu Shishi never disappoints me with every drama she delivers, she also introduces me to other amazing actors she co-star with

Although its not a verbatim account of ancient china, the drama series that are out there are addicting. I've watched 6 or 7 of them. If you haven't watched a series of the Monkey King (Sun Wukong) (Journey to the West) I recommend it.

Qing Chen went to the parallel universe in the past in a wedding dress and came back to the present in a wedding dress as well 😍😍😍 niceeeee... For the record, Qing Chen's outfits throughout this drama has been nothing but super fabulous. The character she has is also very well made it suits yhe perfect heroine..the one who loves and gives everything she's got for that love. At the same time, resolute with her choices. She's flawed, yes. But she never fails to correct her mistakes and make up for it. Adding this to my list of CDramas all time favorites ❤
did she travel back to the original timeline? it seemed like she stayed in the parallel universe because prince zhang is still in love with her and the female elder was still the one that died instead?

I'm not sure about the princes who died in the second timeline but survived the first one, but it seems like since both elders made it out alive maybe others did as well. I always wondered if maybe Duo Xia came back to life too? We don't know where she was or what she was doing in the first timeline, but since the mages hadn't been framed in the first timeline, Ling probably never went to the border and met her. It's hard to know since the turnaround of events from Ling and Qing Chen's original meeting to their first marriage was so fast, but when she went through the Circle, she went back an entire year. Had the war with Liang already happened in the first timeline? Did they not seek a marriage alliance with A'chai? We just don't know.

Love the cast and the love and loyalty between the brothers. Its actually the first historical drama I am seeing the brothers stick together and not tear each other for the throne. What a beautiful ending. My heart goes out to Zhan, LOVE HIM. Loved Chen, Ling, Zhan, the most followed by the rest, Yi, Che, Ming, etc. Chan Willam's sigh this guy makes me fall in love with him over and over again. He just oozes chemistry with each and everyone, even a Rock.

Loved this - it was brilliant from start to finish. So many good characters and excellent performances. William Chan as Prince Ling was an ideal hero and the beautiful Cecelia Liu couldn't have been more perfect for this part; she was so graceful and her acting of her character's challenges and changes was lovely. What happened to Prince Ming? I know the ardent Prince Che and his delightful goose-munching princess got a spin-off. Must say something kind about Maggie Huang. I've seen her in several dramas and whether she's a manic love rival or a noble princess (as in this drama) she always acts the part so well. The costumes in this drama were just gorgeous by the way.

I can’t believe that I binge on this Cdrama series for two days. My opinion, love the simplicity & the continuous flow of this costume drama specially the handsome talented actor/artist William Chan. Liu Yijun is one of my favorite villain actor. Kudos to the entire cast and production. Thank you for sharing.
Done watching.. 10/15/2018.. They really made it to go back at the previous dimension.. but the title should be SELFISH LOVE instead of LOST LOVE IN TIMES.. because every character in this movie will do everything regardless of any hardship circumstances they will meet.. they will fight and keep the one they love.. Prince Hao and Luan Fei once commit suicide because of love but when they revive luan fei still want to die foe the sake of love.. Consort Lian did everything even succeeding the dark sorcery to avenged her lost husband because of love.. Prince Ling and Qing Chen actually fate to be together from previous dimension to the present dimension they really fall for each other and they still manage to go back to the previous dimension when everything turned right at the present dimension.. and even they didnt show here at the last episode what exactly happen to Prince Che and Can Chai we can still guess that they are together at A Chai tribe.. As for Princess Duo Xia and Mukesha they died fighting for the person that they really love and for the love of thier tribe.. and for Prince Zhan he actually really love Qing Chen that makes his heart no have any space for someone anymore even Qing Chen was actually meant for Prince Ling and he even give up the fight that he wanted to avenged for the death of his mother is all because for his love for Qing Chen.. so all in all.. the title should be SELFISH LOVE.. 😉😉😉 so THANK YOU VERY MUCH "HLBN" for the good english sub. My favorite scene on this last episode was the confrontation bet Ling & Zhang. Their affection as brothers still there & I would have love to see Zhan with someone else as well that deserved his true love..
So she returned to the new timeline at the end and the original one is history now? End of the day I don't even care, everyone's happy ex Zhan and they literally rode of into sunset together. I'll take it I will never forget the exquisite costumes this show gave us, Per wiki each of the female lead's costumes took two weeks to make, like no shit she looked like a million bucks. The designer William Chang understood the assignment! Anyhoo, this was a pleasant watch, puzzled by the low views.
Good drama. Even though I haven't seen all of Liu Shi Shi's dramas, the ones I have seen have not disappointed me yet. Fell in love with Prince 4 and Prince 7. Hope William and Liu Shi Shi do more dramas together. I want to see more of Xu Haiqiao too, want him to be paired up in the end too.
Finally I finished this, I’m very satisfied having a happy ending I really like William and her also partners is indeed good in any acting I love them both ❤❤❤

I probably watch this drama series once a year...I like many things about this story, and the visuals are 'other worldly' beautiful. Y'know, the costume designs also stand as a "character" in all scenes, along with hair, jewelry & makeup. Yes, there's a lot to like and enjoy. William Chan owns his role in a mighty way...this man!♥ I really appreciate the ending, for all the leads characters...Yes, even Zhan. Zhan is a loving, caring man; very thoughtful. Now that he's exhausted every means to win the ♥ of his lady love, he knows it is an absolute just how much his 'brother' and his wife love each other and that there's no hope there for him.. You can tell, with the closing scene, that he is now focused on being the King and as such--he will, logically, find another woman that he can love as well. After all, as King--he 'must' produce heirs. He can't do that on his own, right? So---he'll choose wisely and well. He will, in due time, be happy in his personal life.
Props to the costume team department. Though not familiar with the lead actress, I stayed because of the story and the AWE-mazing director - Lin Yu Fen. Thanks a lot for sharing!

just finished watching 11/25/18 and i can't help but comment on this drama....so touching....what a wonderful drama....beautiful love story...fell in love with prince ling and qian chen as well as prince zhan....i can't seem to notice but some of their songs in this drama are somewhat similar to the songs of Ten miles of peach blossoms....it's probably because I am not over TMOPB yet....after watching cdramas these days. i cant seem to go back watching kdrama....
You are right. Yisa Yu both sang one of the main themes in each. The tune of Desert Princess marching to her wedding to Mukasha is the same tune used in Susu's fall from Zhu Xian terrace back to her goddess identity. And yes, this is the only drama that equals my obsession with 3310 - Three World Three Lives Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. I think William Chan did such a good job with his acting, a very different feeling of emotive acting (both of them used their expressive eyes) from Mark Chou (Yehua), both equally mesmerizing. And the Wuxia part (fighting scene) here is much better than TMOPB. But what hooked me in is the amazing storyline, music, and costume. Both share the same director and Stylish director. I'm looking now for the next one that will cure me of Lost Love in Times since it cured me of TMOPB. What a dilemma.

Anyway, this drama is remarkable, especially when it comes to martial arts, its one of the best! William chan is indeed one of the best actor who is best in action skills! Mystic Nine brought me here and I don't regret watching this drama it's just TOO GOOD. Well-written, acting, graphics everything fits perfectly for me. ❤️ I hope this gets a season 2.

For the record, Qing Chen's outfits throughout this drama has been nothing but super fabulous. The character she has is also very well made it suits yhe perfect heroine..the one who loves and gives everything she's got for that love. At the same time, resolute with her choices. She's flawed, yes. But she never fails to correct her mistakes and make up for it.

it seemed like she stayed in the parallel universe because prince zhang is still in love with her and the female elder was still the one that died instead?
I think her actions in the parallel universe allowed her to change the outcome on the original timeline.
@@cindylian3345 I always understood it as the two timelines ended up merging. I'm not sure about the princes who died in the second timeline but survived the first one, but it seems like since both elders made it out alive maybe others did as well. I always wondered if maybe Duo Xia came back to life too? We don't know where she was or what she was doing in the first timeline, but since the mages hadn't been framed in the first timeline, Ling probably never went to the border and met her. It's hard to know since the turnaround of events from Ling and Qing Chen's original meeting to their first marriage was so fast, but when she went through the Circle, she went back an entire year. Had the war with Liang already happened in the first timeline? Did they not seek a marriage alliance with A'chai? We just don't know.
I binge watched 56 episode in 2 1/2 days.you know its true love when you give up your magic for the one you love.

Discovered this drama cos of William Chan, after watching him in Pearl Eclipse. I cant believe I just discovered him after years of being a cdrama fan. Love the cast and the love and loyalty between the brothers. Its actually the first historical drama I am seeing the brothers stick together and not tear each other for the throne. Nice one!!!❤ Now unto more William Chan and Cecilia Liu.

What a beautiful ending. My heart goes out to Zhan, LOVE HIM. Loved Chen, Ling, Zhan, the most followed by the rest, Yi, Che, Ming, etc. Chan Willam's sigh this guy makes me fall in love with him over and over again. He just oozes chemistry with each and everyone, even a Rock.

Loved this - it was brilliant from start to finish. So many good characters and excellent performances. William Chan as Prince Ling was an ideal hero and the beautiful Cecelia Liu couldn't have been more perfect for this part; she was so graceful and her acting of her character's challenges and changes was lovely. What happened to Prince Ming? I know the ardent Prince Che and his delightful goose-munching princess got a spin-off. Must say something kind about Maggie Huang. I've seen her in several dramas and whether she's a manic love rival or a noble princess (as in this drama) she always acts the part so well. The costumes in this drama were just gorgeous by the way.

They really made it to go back at the previous dimension.. but the title should be SELFISH LOVE instead of LOST LOVE IN TIMES.. because every character in this movie will do everything regardless of any hardship circumstances they will meet.. they will fight and keep the one they love..
Prince Hao and Luan Fei once commit suicide because of love but when they revive luan fei still want to die foe the sake of love.. Consort Lian did everything even succeeding the dark sorcery to avenged her lost husband because of love.. Prince Ling and Qing Chen actually fate to be together from previous dimension to the present dimension they really fall for each other and they still manage to go back to the previous dimension when everything turned right at the present dimension.. and even they didnt show here at the last episode what exactly happen to Prince Che and Can Chai we can still guess that they are together at A Chai tribe.. As for Princess Duo Xia and Mukesha they died fighting for the person that they really love and for the love of thier tribe.. and for Prince Zhan he actually really love Qing Chen that makes his heart no have any space for someone anymore even Qing Chen was actually meant for Prince Ling and he even give up the fight that he wanted to avenged for the death of his mother is all because for his love for Qing Chen.. so all in all.. the title should be SELFISH LOVE.. 😉😉😉 so THANK YOU VERY MUCH "HLBN" for the good english sub. I will never forget the exquisite costumes this show gave us, Per wiki each of the female lead's costumes took two weeks to make, like no shit she looked like a million bucks. The designer William Chang understood the assignment!

Good drama. Even though I haven't seen all of Liu Shi Shi's dramas, the ones I have seen have not disappointed me yet. Fell in love with Prince 4 and Prince 7. Hope William and Liu Shi Shi do more dramas together. I want to see more of Xu Haiqiao too, want him to be paired up in the end too.

I probably watch this drama series once a year...I like many things about this story, and the visuals are 'other worldly' beautiful. Y'know, the costume designs also stand as a "character" in all scenes, along with hair, jewelry & makeup. Yes, there's a lot to like and enjoy.

Zhan is a loving, caring man; very thoughtful. Now that he's exhausted every means to win the ♥ of his lady love, he knows it is an absolute just how much his 'brother' and his wife love each other and that there's no hope there for him.. You can tell, with the closing scene, that he is now focused on being the King and as such--he will, logically, find another woman that he can love as well. After all, as King--he 'must' produce heirs. He can't do that on his own, right? So---he'll choose wisely and well. He will, in due time, be happy in his personal life.
Excellent write up of the future for the new emperor. You can be a script writer too

just finished watching 11/25/18 and i can't help but comment on this drama....so touching....what a wonderful drama....beautiful love story...fell in love with prince ling and qian chen as well as prince zhan....i can't seem to notice but some of their songs in this drama are somewhat similar to the songs of Ten miles of peach blossoms....it's probably because I am not over TMOPB yet....after watching cdramas these days. i cant seem to go back watching kdrama....
You are right. Yisa Yu both sang one of the main themes in each. The tune of Desert Princess marching to her wedding to Mukasha is the same tune used in Susu's fall from Zhu Xian terrace back to her goddess identity. And yes, this is the only drama that equals my obsession with 3310 - Three World Three Lives Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. I think William Chan did such a good job with his acting, a very different feeling of emotive acting (both of them used their expressive eyes) from Mark Chou (Yehua), both equally mesmerizing. And the Wuxia part (fighting scene) here is much better than TMOPB. But what hooked me in is the amazing storyline, music, and costume. Both share the same director and Stylish director. I'm looking now for the next one that will cure me of Lost Love in Times since it cured me of TMOPB. What a dilemma.

Nice ending♡♡however I still pity for zhan, hes like run yu from AOL...they become emperor in the end but end up alone and lost of loved ones. Anyway, this drama is remarkable, especially when it comes to martial arts, its one of the best! William chan is indeed one of the best actor who is best in action skills! This drama has good ost also especially the ending song which is sang by my one of my fav chinese singer Jane zhang♡♡ Their chemistry is good also♡This drama is a mastepiece one along with Eternal Love and General and I! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED♡♡♡
