We would love an updated ranking if you have added any new ones to the collection
It’s a very nice collection and it’d been nice if zoologist could gift you some fragrances that you don’t own. After purchasing 20+ fragrances they could return the favor for a change.
I find it fascinating how differently reviewers perceive these fragrances. My favorite fragrance reviewer doesn't care for the house at all and as a rule, I deeply respect his opinions. That said, I ordered a sample of Elephant and really like it. I'm going to order the entire sample set. So much fun to try something different. I'm usually a Chanel girl, but I'm more than ready to step outside the box.
As with all fragrance houses,we like some of their fragrances,but don’t like others. I found this review somewhat insincere in the fact she didn’t dislike any of them…
The sample set 📐 is 200$ with over 20 scents from this house 🏠 it's worth it get to know the line up then buy which ever one I love it's probably a top 5❤

Initially I got a sample of Bat 2020 and Sloth. The minute I smelled Bat 2020 I recognized it: my signature scent! I don't have the original Bat, but I did get Olympic Orchids Night Flyer (which I believe is the original Bat.) Night Flyer is somewhat different, and I also love it. Sloth I liked but wasn't crazy about it. Over time though, I fell in love with it and now I'm a huge Sloth fan. Then I got the big Zoologist "Discovery Set." What a true gift to myself! This big box of goodies has given me a little desperately needed mental respite during some recent really tough times. I strongly encourage anyone who needs a treat to indulge in the treasure of a Zoologist Discovery Set! And then, of course, go get the bottles you've fallen in love with. There's a lot to love!!!
There are definitely a few that don't agree with me (Hyrax, Dodo) and then some that, in spite of *wanting* to enjoy them, I don't. There's something common in Dodo, Dragonfly and Chameleon that just isn't for me. I think it's meant to be a reptilian "skin" smell that -- for me -- is reminiscent of the odor of reptile terrariums/aquariums. Perhaps something a little "aquatic," and I am extremely finicky about aquatic/watery scents. I thought I was going to have a poor reaction to Squid, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not in love with it, though it can be quite compelling. That's one that eventually I might end up loving it. I find Macaque quite interesting as sometimes it smells absolutely stunningly beautiful, but twice now I've had it go into a strong animalic/fecal smell that was not terribly pleasant. But Macaque remains on my "love" list... pending more tests.
And then there is the list of Zoologist fragrances that I'm 100% crazy about (and are on the Full Bottle list.) In no particular order: +/- Macaque, Panda, Koala, Elephant, Rhinoceros, Sloth, Moth and (swoon) my beloved Bat. It is absolutely insane how happy Bat 2020 makes me feel. I did indulge myself and get a full bottle of Bat. I couldn't live without it!

I can’t tell you how excited I am to sit down to watch this! I love the entire Zoology concept and design and I just got my first batch of samples and I’m already prepared to buy Nightingale, Deer Musk is fab, I’m very curious about Moth .... OK time to watch! Thank you for doing this! 💞
This was very helpful! I just got a sample set and my personal favorites are Squid, Camel, & Panda. I love the concept of the brand, you can tell that they really prize the artistry behind fragrance and push it to the forefront of all that they do. New fan!
This video was a joy to watch and frankly I would've happily watched it for at least another hour! If you decide to do more in-depth Zoologist fragrance reviews I would check it out.

Beauty Meow actually the spicy food analogy is perfect, I sometimes use it, but most of the time I just say Zoologist is not for beginners 😄
@@MagicKetchupVideo Actually, I think Zoologist is PERFECT for beginners, because why not start with the quality booze? For example, I don't have to drink Jim Beam to understand and appreciate Lagavulin 16. It just takes TIME to understand. I don't have to read Twilight to understand and appreciate The Iliad--it just takes TIME. Just my opinion. I recently got into fragrances, and I REALLY wish I had purchased a bottle of Rhinoceros and spent time with it instead of wasting my money on things like Dior Poison Girl and Mugler Aura etc. (No offense to folks who like those fragrances--it's just my experience.)

You just did an amazing job explaining what a challenging scent really is. As someone who loves complex flavours in foods (and spicy is my jam) your explination really resonated with me. I have recently found I am craving some more unique and different scents. You have inspired me to purchase a sample set from Zoologist. Hopefully I will have them in a few days.

@@BeautyMeow My package arrived this afternoon. WOW!! I got the Best sellers sample set, now I wish I picked up the complete set, I want to smell them all. I haven't tried them on my skin yet, but I am already in love with a couple and fascinated by a few others. At least one full bottle is in my near future...probably more. This is going to be so much fun trying them on my skin over the next little while.

I love the smell of real eucalyptus. I especially love it when it is dried. I have some in a jar, that I am going to go smell now. LOL It is so uplifting and brings a smile on the face.
Koala is my favorite Zoologist fragrance and I also really like the 2016 formulation of Beaver, Bee, Chameleon, and Sloth which are all full bottles in my collection.
Oh, and please do that talk about paleonthology, I would watch it! :)

I *love* Camel, one of the best, most unique scents I've ever tried! I wish I could wear T-Rex, but on my skin it just turns awful. But I agree that I love the art on these bottles, and Zoologist in general! This was a great vid!

Just trying my firs Zoologist fragrance sample today, Hummingbird. I love it.
Great list. Looking forward to trying a lot of these fragrances. Bee was nice but hard to find perfect time w Vegas weather. Are there any more affordable brands that are still creative/care more about fragrance than just its mass appeal but its artistic and therapeutic benefits? Old school or modern?
I got the discovery set so i can pick what i like before committing to a full bottle. I haven’t tried everything yet, but the standouts so far are Bat, Chameleon, Bee, Seahorse, Camel, Snowy Owl, Beaver, and Squid.
Dodo does not sit well on me at all, in all honesty it smells like B.O on my skin. I tried spraying it on other people and so far I can’t find anyone that it sits well on. Rhinoceros smelled like an ashtray and a distillery on me, but was lovely on my dad. T-rex was like a punch in the face but there’s something interesting about the dry down that makes me want to give it another shot.
But in the end, you win my heart: BEE is a beehive in nature. Perfectly blended and gorgeous -> Stunner!
I love this house! T-Rex, Camel, Rhino and Hyrax are probably my favourites, and of course Bat OG.
And I wish Bee was waxy on me...

Dragonfly, hummingbird, and rhinoceros were my favorites. Havn't tried squid, maque or dodo yet though. I respect the house, but dont know if i would buy any so far .

I use second time this(my) comment/opinion about Zoologist] . I want to try Musk Deer (I love forests), Nightingale and ofc Panda because I love apples, cutruses and all vegetation. Like the majestic mosaic of moist green notes in Fanthom V. I feel instinctively that I am looking for such fragrances. With Zoologist I own "🐨 Koala" and it is a very elegant fragrance that smells like incense, resin and EUKALIPTUSS 🌱 💛, but has one and only range that is repulsive. I do not know what the combination sounds negative, but it is similar to the old cough syrups such as "Gujazyl" or the herbal liqueur "Jegermeister". I chose this fragrance because I love koala.

I love Zoologist as well. But not all are full bottle worthy imho. I’d say only 7 are full bottle worthy for me. The rest I have the 11ml travel size. Or sample size if I really don’t like them. While all are works of art, some are just not wearable, only collect worthy. Bat is one. I don’t like civet
