Hi there, thank you for doing this sampler project. I never knew wavy lines could be so effective. I am also going to get practice with traveling on curves. Looking forward to the next video. Enjoy the rest of your day.
I love wavy lines ❤. And they are so versatile. Many fillers are, depending how you fill the space. I will try to show anything between 4 to 6 squares at a time. I hope you will have fun 😀
It is just amazing how simply echoing shapes and filling in a space can result in such a striking piece. This is probably the easiest thing a beginner can do, really. Lovely! I have only a few triangular spaces to go in my lap quilt/couch throw. After that is completed, I plan to do simpler projects as far as piecing like this one in grays you have here so I can get to the quilting faster. Have a great weekend! ~Cynthia
I loved this project. Everything was working. I had time and concept to implement from start to finish. It was six videos and they had to fit together. I always loved those organic, simple shapes. They are a bit more modern and cannot be applied everywhere but they are so easy to quilt!!!! and yes, they are perfect to get the fill you your own skills and what your machine can do❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤this was another great instructional video. You are very very good at showing us how to fmq with more ease and get awesome results. Thank you so very much. Looking forward to your next video. Have a great day. Sending virtual hugs along with some sunshine 🌞
Hi there!. Thank you again for your feedback. I hope I can help. Ours is such a wondereful hobby and I know it helps me to relax. And it even more fun when you can share the expiriencce ❤. Sending sunny hugs back (today, it is really sunny in my place, finally!)
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have been practicing your other beginner tutorials and seen much improvement in my quilting. Will most definitely do this one too. Your work is beautiful and your tutorials are great. Have a good evening.
Thank you so much!!!!❤ I happy to hear that. Try them out. It is all abut transfer of your idea to the fabric. Once you leran what you need for that, regular quilting is easy :)❤❤❤❤
I am very happy ou found my channel too!. I am using a quilting foot that came with my Janome. It is a gliding foot and I use it almost as often as my ruler foot.
@@quiltingnerd , thank you for the fast reply. I never saw this foot before but it seems that it works very nice and neat as a measurement tool; it looks like the appliqué foot that came with my machine. I've tried it and it seems to work reasonably fine. Of course, I will have to do a lot of practising. But I am looking forward to progressing faster with the help of your videos.
This is one of the best things to say about your acitivities! that they are fun! I am using three feet: ruler, and two gliding quilting feet that came with my Janome, the one with small opening and wide toe open foot. I paid attention to quilting abilities of my machine during selection.❤❤❤
No I am not. I have an Instagram account and between that and my YT channel I am booked. If you want I can send you my special e-mail for such communication. I would love to see your work!

Thank you for your feedback. I know the first stiches can be scary. But the wavy lines are easy. Imagine it is like dancing to a slow music ❤
