- tower defense x is my game i have been working on for awhile! wanted to see how easy easy mode was with the free ranger tower, but i used only myself for testing

Wow, I knew the balancing would be good but not this good! We can finally beat easy mode with starter towers, which I cannot really say for other TD games. Great job, John!

I mean not all TD games on roblox are like that for instance Tower Galactica its litterally imposible to not beat the first planet
I hate that about Tower Heroes the game is good but it’s basically impossible if you only have starter towers and you’re solo (multiplayer is a bit easier)
a cool feature you could add in multiplayer would be if someone leaves you can take control over their towers so its not a waste of space
as well as their remaining cash getting distributed to everyone

Maybe the ability could be given to the player’s friend or the player with the most dmg done. They can’t place new towers from the disconnected players’ load out but they can control, delete, and upgrade the remaining ones

funny thing: you're probably wondering what exactly those "leak-protection" numbers on the screen are.
if it isn't obvious, its the roblox ID of the player on the screen. so you CAN leak gameplay, but they'll know YOU did it

TDX is the only Tower defense game to exist. TDX made roblox, it made TDS, it even made Tower Battles. TDX is above all other games, there is no way to surpass TDX. John Roblox knows what people want. John Roblox knows what every single human on planet earth wants from TDX and he will deliver. John Roblox making TDX is something that would be seen as an insane feat, and even despite all of that he will still deliver. TDX is the best game to ever exist and I know that without having played it. TDX will surpass all triple A games and it will make them cower in fear. TDX will win every single game award in existence due to how amazing it will be. TDX is the sole reason as to why we exist on planet earth today. TDX will be the most hyped up game in existence. TDX is the only game to have unique towers. This is only in TDX.

Hello John! I love what you're doing with TDX, especially the tower customization in game, giving them multiple paths and such! one concern I have is balancing each path for each tower, its impossible to fully make both paths equally as good without them feeling basically the same just with different visuals, but do you think you and your team will be able to manage making both paths be unique yet nearly equally viable? to where you can pick either and not feel bad about it?
It would suck to release TDX and have some towers just blatantly have a better path and nobody uses the alternate path at all. that's my main concern for your game.

For ranger, both paths have a diferent purpose, they help with diferent aspects of the game, even if one is better it's easier have variety of the paths. If all paths were just as equally viable, there would be no point in chosing diferent paths other than you just thinking, "might as well." I like how the paths have diferent strengths like for ranger one has splash for large groups and one has more dps to defeat higher health enemies and bosses. I think it would be best to get alot of bomb path an some high dps path, then for the boss get mainly high dps paths because there aren't alot of enemies when the boss is out.

You may have thought of this, but you should add a shortcut by pressing an icon or a key on your keyboard where you can use Tower abilitys
Instead of having to individually press the towers one by one to use their ability. You can make it to where if there is no zombie in that tower's range it doesn't use it's ability on nothing(same thing with DJ's ability if there is no Zombie in it's range it can't use the ability).

THANK YOU! I've only found a couple of games where easy mode can be beaten with the starter tower. Two questions though, does difficulty scale with players? My second question is around what time do you believe it'll be released? It's alright if you can't answer the 2nd question because I don't know how much development you've exactly put into it, which can make it hard to estimate the release time. Some recommendations for some modes. Versus/PvP: The map will be split into two, you use your own towers you brought into it to figure out who can survive the longest, customizable to their liking. Challenge Mode: Everybody can edit other people's towers and it should only be on hard maps, those beating a map with challenge mode enabled get a badge and possibly an exclusive tower, but trolling is allowed to make the badge more rare. Keep up the good work because this looks like my dream Tower Defense game, it actually has all the stuff I like. Another thing you might wanna add is the ability to donate some of your money to other players. As I was writing this I have another question. So if Player 1 for example, deals 50 damage, would they get 50 cash? If so, if Player 2 did no damage, is that money being shared with everyone in the lobby? Would this mean if one person dealt 1000 damage, then everybody would get 1000 or just the player? Much love, I'm excited for TDX!
1st question already answered, money is gained slower. second question dont even think about asking when a game comes out.
John here is a update idea: put a sand box mode but only lvl 20 players can join and they have to pay 2500 cash to unlock it fully. Or do an endless mode where if u get to wave 25,50,75 get a badge and if you get to 100 u get a tower.

I like how the towers have multiple paths jsut like iin bloons tower defense and tower blitz, and then you can see the stats of other people's towers like in geometry defense. I love having those two things in one game because they are my extra things in a tower defense game. I can't wait to start actually playing it in the months to come. :D I also like how the stealth enemies don't have a seperate zombie or enemy, they are varients of each enemy you have already faced.
John is such a great developer, tester, lifter, eater and generally a Chad, TDX is such a great game, it is a major success that you got people so hyped about your game. Keep it up 💪

Please add an auto button for rangers grenade ability so it shoots when it's off coldown automatically or at least a keybind. Speaking of keybinds i would love upgrade keybinds to both paths. Just some ideas 💡 😅

3:52 actually believe it or not tds has done this when they were testing out the hardcore update in august of 2020 sadly this was removed like the john tower and so many other features that made tds good

I have a idea for a tower: The AA Turret. A tower that shoots fast, has a good range, explosive bullets for one path and pierce bullets bullets for the other. Also like a +1 damage to bosses. Idk if you will do it but I put it here for an idea.
