      Question: i want to start investing with vanguard and it say i have to put in 3k at first for the fund. my question is if i wanted to purchase VFIAX and VTSMX. would i need 6k total to buy both ? or 3k first and then I can purchase other funds? can you do a video on this if you get a chance? Thanks and if anyone else have the answer, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Look for stocks that have paid steady, increasing dividends for years (or decades), and have not cut their dividends even during recessions.

      I’m taking the hybrid approach, VOO, SCHD as my foundation, with growth like MA, UNH, HD. And slow growth like O and PEP. I have a 20 year time horizon. But the best part is I still enjoy my life while I do this. Travel, and buy ONLY things I love. It’s the best combo, plus I love the small victories with receiving dividends/dividend growth/share price appreciation.

      VGT is an excellent portfolio addition, but relying solely on it for retirement may not be optimal. I retired at 62, grew my portfolio to $1.5 million in 10 years starting with 135,000 through the help of a fiduciary and dividends now supplement my retirement income. Invest wisely, build your nest egg, and don't sell the chicken that lays the egg!

      @@KelvinWallace I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.

    Thank you for your videos mate.. Predicting< a reversal of a trend is risky, and even worse, I believe there is more to this market than we understand currently. When people are losing, they don't aim to increase their average, but that can only change if you have a personal trade guide and signal provider like that of Whitney Eston which has made me almost 11.5 on a 3.7 btc Trade capital over the last 3 weeks. Make the wise decision. Markets fluctuate in cycles that can last anywhere from a few days to several years. In the case of B -TC, it's difficult to make a bullish case simply from looking at the charts.

    Have been minimizing touch points this year: Had a small pension from a previous employer; took cash buyout option and rolled it over to IRA. Moved a 529 and HSA to same large investment firm where I have other accounts. I call it "Swedish financial death cleaning." 😂
    I usually have 3 credit cards open b/c I've been hacked a few times & the flexibility to switch cards is nice while sorting out the mess. I use only one most of the time and all of them are fully paid every month.

    I lost over $70k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Patricia Annie Brooks

    With all the new fees announced by Vanguard, and the constant degradation of their services, I think switching to a real broker and using their ETFs makes more sense.

    • @DrBilly90210
      @DrBilly90210 Месяц назад

      Vanguard needs some good news/PR. While the optics aren't great, most of the fees aren't an issue if you just want low cost index investing (e.g. not many have foreign stocks with ADRs, etc.). Worse than these fees, IMO is the long wait time and poor responsiveness if you need to actually speak with someone. I've been slowly consolidating other accounts @ Fidelity; less hassle & better service. BTW, the new $100 "account closure fee" at Vanguard can be recouped in many cases by asking whatever firm you're moving to for reimbursement (you have to ask for it).

    BTC can disregard techincals when in a bull, did that in 2020 when it crossed previous ATH... stayed there a few weeks and continued pumping like crazy to 60k. Also, there is one constant... when around 90 on monthly RSI, the end is near. And don't expect crazy price targets of 500k... expect around 100k at most and be happy if there's more after that. If you believe big boys and CEO's of big invesment firms saying targets like 1M this cycle.. you deserve to be their exit liquidity..It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3B'tc to a decent 21B'tc in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Francine Duguay, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

      Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. So yes i think every investor should consider a similar approach.
