I absolutely love this card. The fact that you do the math for me is such a bonus. Thank you for figuring all the details out so we can just cheat and follow you. You are a true pleasure.
The first time I saw this card demonstrated, I felt it was too difficult. You make it look so easy. Will definitely make this one. I enjoy watching your videos so much. You are a natural teacher. I appreciate you.
Hey, Rachel! That paper is long gone by now, but I need a special birthday card and decided on a pin wheel tower card. Thank you so much for your clear explanation how to build the card. I needed the measurements! Perhaps I should make a note book dedicated to fun fold cards and their measurements! I usually use inches and not metric, unless the demo is from a country where metric is used.I'm from The Netherlands, by the way.😍❤😘
Dear Rachel, I have watched a few tutorials on making a pinwheel tower card before coming to yours. WHAT WAS I THINKING??? I should have just come here first. Thanks for this excellent video with your clear, explicit instructions. I jotted a couple notes and then ran with it. LOVED making this fun fold, thanks to YOU!
I love all your card ideas. I have no idea where you come up with all these great ideas. I love watching your videos. I work when they are live but I don’t miss a one
(Veda) Hi Rachel. This is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful papers and the tower card is great! Thanks for the detailed instructions. Missed the live watching the replay.
Oh Rachel, I truly enjoy your excellent tutorials!!! You are so REAL and AMUSING!!! Your instructions are so easy to follow!!! Thank you so much!!! My best, Karen in Colorado. 😘
Well I followed along and made this card. It was easier than I thought. the hard part is figuring out what dsp combos and whether or not to sacrifice a large panel for people to write their message on. But I love learning new folds. Thanks, Rachel!
You had some good hints. Loved the die and papers you used. I’m trying to use all the dies I own. Like how you don’t go on too much on the products. Very refreshing!
Thank you Rachel for another great card idea! Finally visiting my sister after nearly two years. So I’ll be right on this idea when I get home in Aug. You’re the best!
Arlene Miller.... I am definitely going to make this card tomorrow for my mother-in-law's birthday, using the Hydrangea Hill designer paper I just bought. Am just loving all these NEW ideas and making cards this new fun way!!! Thanks again for this neat card idea!!! Am glad I can watch the replays!!!
Made this card layout a few weeks ago. The first one I saw and made was 6x6 when finished. I figured out how to make it 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, but good tip tonight to use the DSP for the tower part. Also the one I originally saw had another layer, so it was really thick. So great tips tonight. Thanks so much. The original one I saw did have the first section as part of the base like you said you did. Enjoy your videos Rachel. Judy from Apex, NC
Rach, I love your posts and am sincerely glad you don't 'cut out' the things that are challenging or may go wrong. It makes me feel like I'm not alone in those things... :) cheers...
Again...missed the live! Working on computer and my days are messed up this week. Good thing you have replays! That paper is so beautiful, it is perfect for that card. It really shows off with that fold. TFS
