    TPD is reliable to plus or minus 0.5 length. On the flat in a close finish its not reliable. Its a good tool to use as part of your overall in play arsenal though.

    I was collecting data from TPD and the data was incorrect - I found the same issues you found where data didn't match the actual race - was pretty close but not accurate which is the whole point

    I use TPD Bet Mover, and you're absolutely right, you do need stable and fast internet. If you haven't got that, it's no wonder you have not had the best experience. I can see in the video your internet is choppy. The error with the map view you mention with horses finishing in the wrong position, that is annoying, and they are aware of that, but the map view is more for aesthetics and not for making precise decisions. It should be precise I agree, but the metrics are what it is mainly about. I'm sure you know that already though as you use the video stream instead, and you seem to have spent a lot of time on it already. They have since fixed the map finishing position glitch I've seen from my recent usage. There will always be the occasional blip though, as they could lose contact with one of the two GPS trackers fitted to each horse. They take every precaution to try to minimize that happening, as I've been to the track and seen them fit these trackers, but these things will inevitably occur sometimes as they are horses running around a track, and often jumping fences, so there is always an element of the trackers can go wrong. Looking at the way you're using the platform laying horses at very high prices, going for the back on the very low odds as they steam in (been there done that, and it's not a good idea), or flicking between your own ladder software, you're not utilizing the metrics to help make your choices. This is the data produced by the trackers, so you're definitely not getting the most from Bet Mover. Have you tried using your personal skills, or luck like you say, combined with the metrics provided? I'm certain they will help add to your decisions, and you can stop just aiming for the tail end of the back or lay market. Looking at your screen I can't see any actual horse running data other than exchange / standard betting type info. The metrics are what it is all about really. I personally do need to delve deeper into demonstrating how the metrics can be used in my own videos. I've only just restarted recording my betting activity using a fixed stake laying approach with Bet Mover, and primarily use the VF combined with the fast betting and some other stats, it's very useful to make the quick decisions required in running. VF is not available on any other platform, and for jump racing specifically it's vital in my decision making. This video you put up here though, I have to say mate, your video title is click bait, and content is a bit all over the place, just being honest as I've been guilty of this myself at times in my own videos, but you're flicking to the ladder, going on to football at the end, and giving some examples of you using Bet Mover to just place bets, while not actually using it properly. With the title, Why I No Longer Use Bet Mover, I was expecting a deep dive into the issues or money you may have lost due to the software's performance, things that had let you down with it costing you money, but there is none of that. Just you making some general bad betting decisions using it, but not really using it properly in any way to fully explore what it's all about. Why don't we have a chat, not on RUclips, and come up with a full Bet Mover run through of what it is, its good points that no other platform provides, and the bits we don't like that could use improvement. You seem to have a decent following here of people commenting, more than me to be fair, so my idea is to give them the real information on what Bet Mover and TPD data actually provides in one or more You Tube videos. I'm happy to join up and do that with you, as we can share it with our followers. A structured usual objective approach. I have often reported bugs with BM in my video's, and shown errors, as I initially helped feedback glitches to them, but fairs fairs if you're going to put a heading why you don't use TPD, I think that needs to be justified. Get in touch and lets have a chat, and hopefully we can team up on some constructive new structured and specific content. As the platform itself and concept must have originally attracted you so some reason, not just for the fast in play betting, so I'd really be interested to know what sparked your interest. As we could possibly get back to that, and feedback to TPD our ideas. We could actually help the devs in the end with our content, and at the very least give a clear picture of our own betting experience using the actual data the platform is set up to deliver. The good stuff, and the could be better aspects. Just an idea if you're up to for it, no worries if not obvs. Sorry for the long message, but I had a bit to write after watching your video. Cheers, Ryan.

      Hi Ryan, sorry for the long delay in replying. I will try and answer your observations in order. Since trying TPD my connection speed as improved but unfortunately due to where I live it's still poor compared to the average. You are right in saying "I was not utilizing the metrics" I probably did not learn how it works rather than jumping in thinking "I know it all". My videos are absolutely terrible, I started to record my sessions with the intention to look back on to see wear I went wrong and how to improve (kind of a vblog for myself). One day I decided just to upload one to YT and have continued to post one every now and then (I still recode my sessions to look back on). I don't put much effort in to the editing or prompting the videos (glossy thumbnails for example) and defiantly not intended to be click bate so if it came across like that, I'm sorry. As for having a chat about TPD I would be up for that but before we get to that stage, I have taken a small brake from Trading/betting. I have been a gambler for over 30 years and trying to transfer to being a trader, I have found difficult especially with horse racing, seeing a trade go bad so then turn it in to a bet instead of taking the small loss, it turns in to a big loss. So I tuck a small break and then gone back to basics. I am concentrating on the football at present and will do for the next few months. Going back to the video there was some comments backing up some of the points I made so it was not just me who was having problems with the software, but like you said this is 1 year old and some of the glitches may have been corrected. You say I have a good following, I only have just over 400 followers (thank you to anyone who has) which in YT world is very poor, but like I said earlier I don't put any effort in to advertising my channel. Teaming up to do more videos on TPD is something I would be interested in doing but need more time before I get to that stage. Horse racing is my first love and that's probably why I have struggled with trading. I did intend to revisit TPD and see if there was any improvements before you sent you message but (like I have said) concentrating on the football for now.
      Summary
      Better internet
      Learn the metrics, VF
      Spend more time on my videos
      Concentrating on football
      Stop gambling
      Would like to chat about TPD/Betmover but not now
      Maybe do some joint videos (In the future) but I need to learn more about TPD and practice making/editing/promoting videos.
      Hope this answers some of you comments, if you want me to talk about anything specific let me know.
      Nosey-P

      Im arguing with peter webb on his channel about these glitches. Im telling him it has to be right and 100% reliable for the money it costs the user.
      TPD have to sort these glitches out.

    If you think you can bet in-running using the feed from Betfair, think again. You don't stand a chance. 'Live' pics are not live and the courtsiders will be at least a couple of secs ahead of you. You need to learn a lot more about in-running but then again trying different methods out is no bad thing if you can bear the losses...Have fun....you have a long rocky road ahead...

    • @noseyp6614
      @noseyp6614  2 года назад

      I was on the understanding that Betfair was the fastest pictures, I get that you cannot beat the courtsiders. So to trade in-play what do I need to do? I’m not talking about B2L but visually seeing what’s happening and acting on it. Can I only do this with software? Any advice is appreciated

    • @MikeKleinsteuber
      @MikeKleinsteuber 2 года назад +1

      @@noseyp6614 Well things may have changed these days but I very much doubt Betfair will be the fastest pix and even if you get access to SIS (bookies) pix you have to consider the latency of your betting from your home to the Betfair servers. Sadly milliseconds do count. If you're a long way from the servers your bets will take longer to be matched and it may be better to put your software (Gruss or Geeks) on a VPS close to the Betfair servers. But even then, these days (post 2008 when it all went tits up for in-running at Betfair when they first introduced the Premium Charge) you have the problem of in-play liquidity which is hugely volatile. Personally, if you're not court siding I wouldn't bother to bet horse racing in-play and you were better off learning to use TPD.

    • @tomas_hertzell

      @@MikeKleinsteuber I do not agree fully. I have seen many videos where the market is very close on acting in accordance with the stream. If a horse is ten meters behind the leader milliseconds do not count. A bad running horse does not run better because of time. Look at the runners, not the market as long as it is not obvious there is a delay in the stream.

    • @MikeKleinsteuber
