And later came under dogra rule who were initially puppets of the sikhs. Even after the british took hold the jammu terrotry remained as a princley state of dogra rulers.

Worked in Australia on a working holiday visa. Ended up in the northern territories in a camel tour farm, owned and operated by a man descendant of the Afghan camel drivers. He was full of knowledge and love for the animals. Spent a season there learning the trade and working with him. Loved every moment. Planning on going back soon

The truth is most were not Afghans but Baluchis and Indian Muslims from Punjab. They were erroneously called "Afghans" because of the early Pashtun horse dealers that came to sell horses and camels which later, saw heavy influx of Indians which the British brought.
Fun fact: Australia has the largest number of wild camels in the outback. Most of the time, they’re left to their own devices but a while back they were causing issues because of how much water they were drinking. Apparently they were draining water resources in the outback and so the Australian government resorted to genociding the wild camels with airbombing….yes Australia has a famous history of war with animal (check out the whole emu war episode 😂). I’m Somali and my people love camels so much because it’s such a big part of our history and identity….and so when I told my relatives back home about the camel genocide, you can imagine how heartbroken and shocked they were 😂 Some of them were even begging me to appeal to the Australian government to stop the camel genocide and instead ship them off to Somalia for free🤣🤣🤣

Manga Khan was my ancestor. He was my dad's grandfather's brother. I am from the U.K. He was not from Afghanistan but what is now Azad Kashmir in Pakistan.
@captainhotsquid8580 It was British India at the time. If you read what I wrote, it is 'NOW' Azad Kashmir. Manga Khan is buried in Ararat Cemetery. Go on Wikipedia, you might learn some history.

The first mosque built by the Afghan cameleers was Marree mosque built around 1861. The town is about 600km north of Adelaide. It is still standing now, but alas, it's not able to use.
My great grandad was one of these cameleers, he travelled from Pakistan to Australia, came back to Pakistan then went back for work, he was even mentioned in a newspaper article, would love to go and see if he got married there or if he had any impact on anything there ie masjids

What rubbish. Camels were used to take goods to places in rural areas that were very thinly populated and are now even more thinly populated. This video is idiotic. The recent dna anaysis (accessable online) indicates that the Baluch people has more Ancient iranian_N (neolithic farmers) dna then Persians,Kurds and Azeris which makes them one of oldest surviving people on earth including Brahuis.The average Iranian_N dna found in Persian just 35% and average Baluch of Makran range has 57 to 68% Neolithic dna.Can be confirm online.Every group migrated from one to another place including all Afghans (Pastun,Tajik,Hazara,Pamiri,Norestani etc)..i dont think any enthnic group survived in one place.Ancient Afghan nomadic tribes were also different then todays Afghan enthnic groups.
