I was listening while working out last night. Very competitive games. Hoping for another good one tonight. Will be nice to have a starting pitcher instead of a bullpen game.
@@danko6582 Super cool that he was on the featured page too. I probably needed to hit more to get to that one. If I free up some time I may have to try and create something cool with a motor. :-)
Hi.. Hope you can help, I just bought a used Ultimaker 2+ with single extruder. this is my first 3D printer and i want to learn. Your videos are great but I can't replicate because I only have one extruder. for example, i would love to 3D print a keychain with 2 colors like you did earlier.. my question is: if i print the outer piece with hollow letters and then change the filament and print the letters separately, any advice you have for me to make sure when i assemble the piece, the letters fit the hole perfectly (snugged)? and is there a section in your playlists that caters to those of us who have single extruder printers 🙂 .. Love your videos again .. Thanks ..
Thanks for the kind words! This tutorial highlights a single extruder version. ruclips.net/video/fNEBQBpo8W4/видео.html There is a 2nd video in the cards that shows how to get the best fit for the 2nd part.
With a single extruder design the sign so you can print no more than one colour per layer. For example, make the background in white and then do layers of detail in blue.
Thanks for the shout out. It was a fun project.
@@danko6582 My pleasure. Super fun creation! Thank you!!!
That's quite impressive 😁
IKR! It is crazy how far our designs can go these days!
Awesome!!! So far a competitive series between our teams again. I didn’t realize your record in July until Monday holy 😳

@@HLModTech It did not disappoint! Big one tomorrow as well!
Looks cool
Thanks! I think I would have had a blast with this in my classrooms.
These sim labs are so cool!
Thanks! Hard to believe it is August... you ready for school?
@@HLModTechI know, it was a very short summer-wish it was longer.
Amen. Imagine being somewhere like Hawaii where it is almost always warm. I guess this makes us appreciate our seasons.
@@HLModTech Yes. As short as the summer was, I’m always ready for the autumn aesthetic 🍂❤️
Master kid's project was great. It was already featured. I didn't submit the mod because I already submitted three and it was a collaboration.

It is for a sign, not a keychain... I will see what I can do for that. It may take a few days though... Golf tomorrow and Thurs is already rolling.

I think I am going to re-work my technique I used here to inlay the colors. ruclips.net/video/L-zlSmkmors/видео.html
The SVG to STL trick worked out pretty slick for "snapping" layers in.
