I'm gonna pick up an SD1 soon but think I'll go with the original. The waza is cool but it's nearly 3x the price. Think I prefer simplicity anyways of the original.
I need an overdrive pedal that works well with a DS-2. Meaning, I’ll use the overdrive for a base tone and then turn on the DS-2 for solos. Any suggestions?

Bd2 Blues Driver. It has plenty of gain if you want it, or you can back the gain right off for that edge of break-up tone.

I have a secret weapon that puts that to shame
No you haven't. If you did, you would've elaborated.

Please... It's nothing more than a capacitor filter
I don't get how you would not just get the the real thing
It is the real thing... It's a Waza Craft SD-1.
Uhm I'm sure it's better ?
It’s the more expensive version, some boss pedals have a “waza craft” version
This IS an SD-1 with an extra circuit built in.
