    Does every biochemical reaction need activation energy? (10:04)
    Or are these graphs just accidental pictures of a reaction? (11:27)
    Thank you for this well presented video!

    • @EasyPeasyLearning
      @EasyPeasyLearning  Год назад +2

      Hi Jacob, All chemical reactions require activation energy, which is the energy needed to get a reaction started.

    • @jacobvandijk6525
      @jacobvandijk6525 Год назад +2

      @@EasyPeasyLearning Thank you! Does that mean that a spontaneous reaction somehow needs activation energy too? I hope you understand my confusion.

    • @EasyPeasyLearning
      @EasyPeasyLearning  Год назад +2

      Hi Jacob, yes spontaneous reactions also have activation energy, if you watch the video on glycolysis ruclips.net/video/djfO-li8gR4/видео.html
      You will see that energy is require to start the process but the release of energy at the end of the reaction is greater then the initial amount of energy consumed. So the net energy will make the process exothermic or spontaneous
