Somewhere in this video I show you how to sit up straight and then I set up a drawing desk that enables me to sit upright while drawing. I'm not sure what the rest of video is about. There is some meaningful content sprinkled among there... maybe...
I like the idea of lying down drawing. But it will be very hard not to fall in sleep. That's what old people do fall asleep. Like what I do.
the last part is hilarious! I actually widen my eyes out of laughter
Have you ever looked at the HAG Capisco chair? You can sit on it backwards and lean forward supporting your body while at a front incline. According to some it’s the best ergonomic chair out there.
Wow that's a fascinating chair. At first I was laughing at it because I thought it looked like it wanted a hug. But then I saw the genius behind it.
The king's chamber at Giza is STRANGELY similar to your simulation. Did the Egyptians figure out the ultimate drawing setup first?
And after centuries of tomb robbers its true purpose was obscured.
The bit at the end was great.
Dude, the last part was craaazy good haha 😄😄😄
And what to do when you are sculpting (clay) because it will roll and fell down?
I love your humor 🤣 subbed!
how does this not have more views the end was so god damn funny LMFAO. I'm adding this to my watch laters, GOOD EFFORT BRO
Because artist loves pain
It seems that the old animators here in the west would use a desk at an angle. However, Japanese animators I have seen seem to use their paper flat. Not sure why.
Your comment made me do a little research. I came to the same conclusion as you: not sure why.
I wonder if it has something to do with the back-breaking low income work they are expected to endure? Maybe they also have a lower average employee age?
Although I did notice that often when they are using a wacom pen display tablet it will be on an angle.
@@Ashsibe i think it is sadly for lowering cost i guess, those angled desks Disney animators used until the late 90s are on the couple thousand dollars according to Aaron Blaise, the director of brother bear who worked there and bought his desk when he got out of the company.
@@pablobarrios7681 I could literally build one for like $150. Why do people have to make things like that so expensive 😭
Great video on several levels😁😂👍
what... lmao this was brilliant
Very interested
Whoa! I have that Magic Eye book too
Nice...After 20 years I've finally figured it out.
All that time, from childhood to now, made the experience a little... anti-climatic
Im literally giggling at your VR idea😂😂your british accent makes it 2x funnier
I'm Australian believe it or not 🤠
Togashi needs to see this
Ty
i was waiting for the part where you had to account for leaning your head back to see better with your hat, instead i saw a comfort tube feeding dystopia O_O
I literally can't sit anymore. I'd recommend putting your feet up on the table and leaning back in the chair. The chair will keep your spine and neck where they need to be. But you'd need something for your lap, which I haven't figured out yet.
Thanks for the vid! Good ideas here.
So your legs, and maybe a plank of wood, would become the angled drawing board? I think that could work. Costs almost nothing too.
@@Ashsibe Feet should probably be flat? But I lay down to draw, and apparently so did a lot of artists like Frida Kahlo, who also had a back brace when she's sit up to paint. So I feel like there's something there but I haven't figured it out yet.
What , if you have a sketchbook, how can you use a drawing board with a sketchbook some really heavy duty clamps possibly what are your thoughts?
Recently I've been using a non-slip rubber mat between the sketchbook and the drawing board. But I have reduced the angle of the drawing board a bit. On the extreme angle I have in this video I put the sketchbook on top of the horizontal ruler which comes with the drawing board. I guess you could replicate that by clamping a thin horizontal strip of timber to the drawing board.
VR = Very Relax, imo
Most japanese mangaka: Make me.
Very funny video dude
this is definitely a video.
4:50
4:49 is there a kick starter for these?? I need one in my home NOW
Lmaaooooo finding the most ergo way to draw is one hell hole indeed.
How did I end up here
Lmaooo
Hahaha
Where did you get that drafting table, and what's the name of the company? I have been searching for something exactly like that!
The desktop drawing board I'm using is a 'Trueline Drawing Board'. Made by Blundell Harling Ltd.
It's a very old second hand one. But they still make them. There is also another company called Draftex that also make a similar product.
Edit: Wait... Draftex is a Australian company I think. That may not be helpful.
😂😂😂
Have u ever seen serial experiments lain
