Hey...this is off topic, but I need some advice on head coverings, if you can give me tips. I'm a head covering Christian fo just over 2 1/2 years, and I've been wearing a triangle crochet head scarf that I made from a free pattern and I love it. But I recently bought some tichel scarves like the ones you use for alot of your elegant wraps. My problem with all of them, including my iwn, is that no matter how I wrap them, tie them, pin them, or what I do, they slide. My crochet one is 100% cotton and I have classic wool ones that I made (they font slide). The tichels are bamboo cotton. My under caps are cotton as well. The furst crochet one I mention slips the least if I wrap it right, but not a guarantee. Can you offer any tips? I do try to wrap and tie or pin them secure enough, but not too tight. I know too tight or too loose will cause them to slip. Help? Thanks! :)

Hi there! Our Essentials should help you. Either a No-Slip Headband or a Shaper with our special grippy velvet fabric. You'll love how they hold your wraps so securely!

@@WrapunzelOfficial thanks! I'm considering getting 1 out 2 to try. My husband bought me 3 under caps already, and while 2 of them are cotton and all 3 of them stay on my head without a head scarf on, both my head scarf and under caps slide off wheen I wear both. But I have not tried any of your accessories, yet, so maybe I'll do better with them.

In the meantime, I found an easy solution that works without an under cap. It's not quite as full, but it's the same basic look, and it's very pretty for every day.
So, this is what I do, no pins necessary:
Instead of tucking a piece of each under the first knot after I wrap each each over my head,
      1. I make the first knot after laying the scarf over my head.
      2. I wrap the first tail over, then I take a corner of that tail and pull it under in the back. Instead of tucking it under the knot, I take it with my other hand and pull it tight towards the opposite shoulder. Then I let go of it. It will loosen a little, but that's OK. I'm just getting that corner to the other side.
      3. I take the other tail and wrap it over my head as normal.
      4. I take a small corner of the second tail and pull it under in the back and towards the opposite shoulder, like I did with the first tail.
      5. I take the 2 small corners and double knot them in the back underneath the first knot.
      6. Done! If I see the small tails from the final knot sticking out and I want to hide them, I just tuck them under the knots.
Reading what I typed, it sounds more complicated than it is. It's actually very simple. As gor snugness, of course, I pull it snug as I wrap and tie, if it starts to come loose. I find it's just tight enough to stay on all day while I do housework, exercise, and everything else. Sometimes, I fall asleep with it on, and 9 times out of 10, it will still be in place when I wake up. And It's not tight enough to give me any headaches.
Now I can't let do the same thing with my crocheted scarf. I stretched put the stitching in my durst one afyer 2 1/2 years, because of pulling on it so much with the knots. So, I made a long cord ribbon to tie the tails together as I wrap it. But it still can slip, so I may still end up getting at least one of your caps to try it. We can't spend on non-essentials right mow, so I'll have to wait until we can. Just thought I'd share the tip for those who don't have indercaps or if they still find their scarves slipping.

My velvet headpiece seems to slide off, any suggestions?

Hi Rachel! First of all, make sure you're wearing your No-Slip Headband in the correct direction (it should feel rough as you stroke it towards the back of your head). Hopefully that will help! Wishing you the best always!
