Who couldn't see this coming? Armon and Al have had tense interactions since day 1 of him joining TEAGIF. Star Reynolds absolutely knew Al was bi-sexual and she chose to marry him anyway because she wanted a husband. Let’s be clear, Al has been shady and nice-nasty to Armon ever since they made Armon permanent. Armon kept going to his RUclips and trying to take up for Al and telling his viewers to back off of Al, but Al still kept coming. Everybody (including me) thought the problem was with Claudia, but then we gradually began to see it was actually Al.
It was his birthday and just nasty to do, Al didn't do that to him on his birthday.
I remember Star being super, silly excited about getting married to Al back then. I also remember there were rumors of him being gay but, who really knew. I always thoght he was but, it wasn't my business. Actually Star seemed more excited about the wedding more than anything else at the time. She talked about it everyday on the View, until Barbara Walters gave her only a few minutes a day to talk about her wedding because she couldn't stop talking about it and it took up too much from the daily topics. Honestly, I don't believe he told her he was bi before they got married and she seemed desperate anyway at that time. I aslo remembered him saying he was not gay back then.

She actually let many of them go after the first season. Including the white couple that used to be on screen a lot. I get it tho. She was new to it and they helped usher in the show but now she's ready for her own team and her own ideas.

All I’m going to say is that Armon is not a “Funky Dineva” and them adding him to the show was their way of trying to make another “Funky Dineva”. Like Meg told Carl if you made me then make another. And now we are left with Erica Banks who is now having issues with the label as well and she clearly was NEVER going to be able to compete on Meg’s level. Just like Erica (and it’s ironic that Armon used to love Erica when she first popped out) Armon busted on the scene very cocky and entitled. Like they’re automatically privy to certain things but haven’t put the work in long enough to show they are deserving of the things of the things.
I’m afraid I disagree. Armon is his own person. And while I enjoy Funky, they would never be able to take this show further with the vulgarity he brought to the show.
