XG- 7 members aged 17-21. They are Japanese and trained in Japan and Korea.
They speak Japanese, Korean, and English. They are a Global group. Debuted on March 18, 2022.

This person hit everything I was gonna say lol perfect summary of them. I think they also speak a couple of other languages but I could be wrong. And yes you totally need to check out those songs, but I would say start from the beginning with tippy toes and mascara and dont forget about the cypher and all their single/duo/triple combination songs. But yes you nailed it right off the bat.
@@JamesSmith-pl2uc They have used a couple of words from other languages but that doesn't make them fluent in it, they did also do GRL GVNG using ASL but they had to learn it from a Professional for that video.
Welcome to the world of XG. All their songs are different genres and in English. Their main themes is RnB and Hip Hop. Yes, they debuted March 2022 of last year but they've been training since 2017. They're all Japanese. One is an Australian mix, and one is an korean mix. XG rapline ain't no joke.
XG is Japanese global girl group from company XGALX a subsidiary company from AVEX TRAX a Japanese music company.
All member is Japanese ( 2 of them half Autralia and half Korea) the XGALX CEO is JAKOPS/Simon-san (Japanese-Korean)
XG is X-Pop because they want to break the idol girl group music stereotype, XG core music is R&B HipHop and can mix
with other genre/style music.
Their fan base is Alphaz that's from 'Alpha' the 7 wolf XG members. 🐺

Quick guide for XG content official music videos 8 of them so far. Rap showcases Tapes 1,2,3a and 3b. Vocal showcases Vox 1-5. Dance showcases Move 1-4 move 2 has 7 videos one for each member. Xtra Xtra is the Documentary, Xtra XG is behind the scenes, XG Days are vlog videos, and oh course dance practices. XG debut in March 2022 with Tippy Toes followed by Mascara but what really put them on the radar was when the youngest member Cocona who was 16 at the time went viral for her rap on Galz Xypher tape 2. They followed that up with Shooting Star and Left Right (spent 14 weeks on the US Mediabase radio top 40 charts with a peak position of 25 first Japanese female artists and first Japanese group to make that chart first Asian girl group to spend more then 10 consecutive weeks there until Fifty Fifty did with Cupid) They then announced the first mini album New DNA to release on September 27th which has 3 pre-releases GRL GVNG (MV is short so to get the full song you will have to look up a lyric video or check out the dance practice or the ASL(American Sign Language) version of it) TGIF and New Dance. They released Puppet Show with the album. Members names are Chisa, Hinata, Jurin, Harvey, Juria, Maya and Cocona. Current ages are 17-21. They premote on the Korean music shows. So far they done HITC NY and LA. KCON Japan and LA. Tokyo girls fashion show, and most recent they headlined Billboards The Stage at SXSW in Sydney Australia. Sorry for the long comment but in reality I just skimmed the surface with some basic information.

XG is not a K-pop group. They are Japanese Global girl group that sing in English. They have nine music videos, however they have many Vox videos which feature their three main vocalists and mixtapes which feature their 4 members of their rap line. They call their music X pop and their music primarily focuses on R&B and hip hop with a late 90s early 2000s influence.
They do a TLC no scrubs cover but its super short. It is still super amazing but its short. They are my favorite group!!
The teeth are symbolic! Harvey's are dark red & are supposed to harken back to older japanese beauty standards and blackening the teeth (seen as beautiful) while also representing how women's words are ignored: "listen to what comes out my mouth". Jurin's are sharp teeth, symbolizing how women's words are often discredited as sharp: "treat me like a lady, this aint up for debating". ❤️🖤

No experiencing a new world because they’re Xpop a new genre concept XGALX from AVEX JAPAN 🇯🇵. In this concept they are saying they’re the “Puppet Show” for us Alphaz . Alphaz is the fan name 🐺🐺🐺. Yes yes! You're right, one of TLC mv, but I forgot the song title
So this music video, in my theory, they are like trapped in the underworld kind of like stranger things in the upside down and they can only go to the other world through the abyss if they are accepted. Here are some facts, 1, the guy jumps and you can see in this music video all of the members eyes got like super wide cause they were watching to see if he would make it and he like explodes so he wasnt accepted. 2, they were praying or asking for guidance or something from that "god" person and then 3, whenever they all jumped it showed Cocona in the air forever but she landed and they were running up a building like they are running to the top. My biggest question was look at Maya before they jumped, she has like really icy crystal eyes and then at the very end when they are on the other side one of her eyes are red... so did like did something go wrong during the jump and they are going to like turn demonic? Like remember girl gvng they all had like different colored eyes.... or is this just to make the MV more hype? I have no idea! Ugh XG always keeping me on my tippy toes (see what I did there lol)

There is a lot of symbolism going on in this music video. All kudos to @exScythed who put this together first to my knowledge.
- First, take note that our girls start all separated and alone. They were lowered into Buddhist Hell by the thread of a spider (the starting scene with Chisa represents this). The figures you see in the very beginning are wearing traditional Buddhist headdresses. They are surrounded by spirits who are caught in a cycle of reincarnation that never ends. (In Buddhism the “spider’s thread” is a reference to how Buddha took the thread of a spider in Heaven and lowered it down to Hell so that a criminal can climb up from Hell to Paradise. Therefore the thread of a spider is a symbol of slight hope aka a silver lining and of fragility. In the story it’s stated that the thread descended through “many layers of sky and clouds.”)
- The XG girls look on sadly as many spirits attempt to reach Paradise and fail, exploding into nothingness (Chisa looking down from her perch represents this.)
- Even though the XG girls are hailed as goddesses by the other spirits (represented by the way the other spirits bow to them) they realize they still can’t reach Paradise alone aka achieve enlightenment.
- This changes when the XG girls find each other in death, realizing that their meeting was fate in order for them to reach Paradise together (they are tied together by the “red string of fate” and “hesonoo” is Japanese for umbilical chord.) This is represented four times in the video and twice in the chorus of the song; When Juria is running to help a spirit and meets Hinata there’s a close up of her eye where we see her having a vision of an explosion, when Harvey (who has black teeth which in Japan is a common practice amongst women because it represents a “woman with virtues”) meets Jurin, when the XG girls rap/dance together as a group with the drums, and when a wayward spirit’s failure to achieve enlightenment causes an explosion which knocks everyone down leaving only XG standing strong. There’s also a ton of fourth wall breaks showing that they’ve broken away from the circle the spirits are stuck walking in. They know the Truth aka achieved enlightenment and know you’re watching basically. Also, it is only in the later two choruses the girls adlib together. The first chorus, when they haven’t met in the video yet, has none.
- Before XG goes, they bless one of the spirits who is heavily implied to be pregnant with a girl (the moon is associated with womanhood ... please don't ask how a spirit in hell gets pregnant) and has earned the right to be reincarnated.
- The XG girls take a literal leap of faith together and successfully reach Paradise, symbolized by their new, white outfits.
The music video is tied to XG’s themes of female empowerment-women have two “x” chromosomes, the girls are “extraordinary,” they have the “x-factor,”they represent a better future for women which is connected to the idea that the next generation of children (children birthed by women who have “new DNA”) are the future hence the futurism stuff. I hope this helps anyone!
