A very nice piece and great visuals in the video. It's a shame it ends
so quickly! Werner Herzog should commission you to create music for his
film. The bluesy lick in the middle is surprising...

🙏 for the feedback. just some smartphone pics from a winter walk yesterday. the grey sky was stunning against the glooming white trees. did you check henry kaiser's music for herzog's film? p.s.: yeah, thats another 50€ into the david gilmore penalty blues licks cash box (there is this story of how allen was so good in mimicing all the british rock/blues guitarists, friends virtually fell out of the sky, but of course he NEVER did it in his own music for aesthetic rigor).

I watched "Encounters at the End of the World," but I don't remember the music from the film very well. I need to refresh my memory of that recording.
In my comment, I also meant to say that some of your more ambient tracks can evoke similar feelings to those old Popol Vuh soundtracks.

@@jojena_imm It is very interesting film music, and there is a wide stylistic range among the pieces that make it up, but everything somehow connects well together, perhaps because the pieces at the beginning and the end are so good. From a track like 'Platelet Ice,' it's not far to some of your pieces, so maybe Herzog should consider your candidacy next time.

@@jojena_imm Check out the guitar version of "Aguirre" by Gary Lucas as well (ruclips.net/video/HmFeQWcZenk/видео.html).I also recommend their second album, "In den Gaerten Pharaos" (ruclips.net/p/OLAK5uy_l9h6CRK0nikdprQqHRYWw6y-mTuQ0IMcg), the music on it is somewhat proto-ambient. Their third album (ruclips.net/p/OLAK5uy_kFR2H_bfFdlOqgUd0DSB0HiZHUCn2TLL8) is a bit controversial due to its pseudo-Mozartian kitsch, but in terms of sound, I believe it is a significant achievement (that crystal-clear sound of the guitar).
