I think it makes sense to play the movie's OST around the area, but I do hope that they end up going with the instrumental versions. It'd be somewhat strange for a constantly repeating music loop for a decent chunk of the park to have lyrics, unlike pretty much every other music loop at Magic Kingdom
They had licensed music from GOTG when Mission Breakout first opened and Avengers Campus was still being made. Nowadays, its the typical instrumental superhero music. Definitely (i hope) a temporary loop with these lyrics
I think vocal atmosphere music can work well. Silver Dollar City had some well-arranged acoustic folk songs in their queue lines. They of course for decades had their ear-wormy "Fire in the Hole" song - which I loved but honestly was repetitive on the level of "it's a small world". They've just updated that. Hopefully nowadays they know a playlist is better than one song over and over!

Fun the hear the music, but my guess is this is a placeholder and the final ride loop will have an instrumental version or use a different song (like "going down the bayou").
There’s no way there revealing the actual score, if there reusing original tracks that’s a new low of creative laziness, that’s like hearing Uncle Remus vocals ripped from the movie on Splash Mountain.
You’re most likely right about it being a placeholder. They announced they were working with “Music Legends PJ Morton and Terence Blanchard” to create new music for the attraction
The bayou portion is mostly on the inside 😁. The outside is made to look like an overgrown salt dome with a little bit of the bayou in front of it. It looks really great at night with the lights and fireflies!
Splash was my favorite attraction since I was a child. But all these clips have me so excited. Have hope. It’s still the same attraction with another southern twist.

Disney really can’t do anything right. They just add IPs to everything. They ruined a perfect attraction and not only theme it to a pretty mediocre movie, but make the ride look horrible. It looks like a piece of broccoli lmao. Disney cares more about inclusion than actually giving guests a good experience. It really just looks like a cheap log flume, not something that took almost 2 years to build. They just gave universal the win so easily. Universal is already better and now they had a chance to atleast make something good and they ruined it. It doesn’t even fit with the land. Splash was such an icon to the park. Probably the most iconic ride. They replaced it with a bush. I was already skeptical about how this would turn out but it’s even worse than I could’ve anticipated.
Hearing Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah right after splash down is the superior pay off to the tension built up while climbing the hill and dropping into the briar patch.
I hope those bars will be covered because this looks like a cheap log flume ride when it's not. Also think this isn't the official music. This just to see if the music works. They did say that none of the music was from the movie. Also this happy music playing doesnt make the drop look frightening anymore
I bet they just weren't running the water down the plunge. There's no need to have that on if they're just cycling boats. I believe those bars are footholds if they need to climb the flume and also churn the water that runs down the flume when it's turned on.
Im starting to think that Magic Kingdom's Tiana's Bayou Adventure will open in May just by seeing the current progress, I know Disney said Summer, but May is the perfect time, August would be way too late
Why can’t they do what they did with splash here and make a country more westerny sounding instrumental with the songs instead of disneylands original big band southern theme. Now it sounds even more out of place and tacky
