How exactly does one determine how enthusiastic these people are about their Porsche’s? Seems that would be up to them. Also keep in mind that high earners are Porsche’s target demographic. Whom should Porsche be making content for if not the people who buy their cars?

With the Chinese economy in the crapper, now Prosche feels the need to redirect allocation to the U.S. At no time did the demand for Porsche product line fall off in the U.S. Now all of a sudden we are important again. This is how you treat a customer becasue it's a one time transaction. The U.S. marekt consist of Clients that a company like Porache needs to build relationships with Clients because we do repeat business, give referrals, and never ask for discount because we know their are no free rides.
Just one more move by Porsche marketing to try to change the perception of who buys their vehicles. Why on Earth they want to do this I cannot fathom. They are not going to do anything that opens up new markets (because the young, urban people can't afford them, lots of them do not own cars in a city and lots of them don't drive at all) but they are doing harm in ignoring or trolling their loyal customer base with this crap.
Fighting 8.5% inflation (more like 35%) with a 1% Fed funds interest rate is like stopping a forest fire with a bucket of water. Folks prepare accordingly. Make investment in other not to depend on the government for funds
Somebody or somebodies in the marketing dept need to get shown the door today. They are missing the point why people buy these cars and are targeting the wrong demographics in every way possible. I guarantee that 95% of Porsche buyers just this year have never heard of these artists and would not want to listen to their music. Male professionals in their 40's-50's are the people that have the money and the desire to buy these cars and that is how it is and will remain. There is no huge untapped market in the young, urban community. marketing depts need to understand what they are selling and to whom they are selling. Porsche marketing has taken a nosedive in 2022. Heads should roll.
