I’m sure it’s priced in. But agree that it looks good! I wouldn’t spec is myself though. Driving base 992 right now without it and can safely say sport design package is not missed and those dollars are better spent on other aspects of the car. Get performance upgrades or a more luxurious interior.
@@Jeremy-yi7zm Yes for me personally as well, the Carrera T is best value purist 911 in the 991.2 model range for guys that the GT3 is out of reach within their budget.

The 911 is the best car from Porsche which never gets old and a true drivers car with a manual stick shift which is rarely seen in today's sports cars.

IMO, the tinted standard LED headlights with PDLS + with the 4 corner dots look so much better than the LED matrix headlights with the slanted 4 point corners

Yeah you can but it costs you more in options, that’s why GTS models exist…. It’s an S with a power kit and the options that sell most on an S model, always has been if you know about Porsche👍🏻😉
Sad that Porsche removed the Turbo variant of the Macan. But the 911 Variants keep expanding - 911 GT3RS (coming soon) 911 Carrera T (on the way, just around the corner) 911 GT2 (depends) 911 GT2RS (it also depends) 911 Sport Classic (prototypes were seen) 911 R (will it even come) 911 Speedster (For the 60th Anniversary of the 911) 911 Rallye (Does that ever happen)
The real advantage of the GTS in the Carrera line up until the 991.2 generation was the wider rear combined with the rear wheel drive, that was a unique offering (borrowed from the 2010 limited edition ‘Classic’ model), which only the GT models could/ can offer at the expense of less comfort (no rear seats, more stiff chassis, all in all more track oriented set up…). With the 992 all this is gone, I don’t see any real competitive advantage now, you could just buy a Carrara S and add a few more options and there you go…

The Panamera 911 is pretty. However, I would like to see about 15 more models, whether it be a sedan of a different design, a sports car, or a hypercar.
It is supposed to sit in the gap between a Carrera S and a Gt3. Think of it as a well specced Carrera S with a bit of extra power or a toned down GT3..but more on the carrera S side to be fair. I own a gts and gt3, hence my opinion
Just heard a nasty rumor that the next generation Cayman is going to be fully electric. Please don’t do it. Proof that we don’t want it is why you were forced to bring back the flat 6. The exhaust sound is part of the driving experience.

For me, it'd be a Carrera T, more due to budget constraints though. But a great purist build.

Every car looks the same these days, I honestly can't distinguish any of the cars/brands anymore as they all seem to blend in together.
You can’t get the lightweight (carbon seats, lightweight glass, etc) package in the other Carrera’s. IMO that is the main reason to go with the GTS.
Porsche thought of that and you'll end up paying WAYYYYY more if you spec a base 911 with these options lol
