then why dont i speak in tounges if i am born again? this is confusing because the bible say the proof that you are baptized in holy spirit is speaking in tongues!
Hi Saint❤. I can assure you, you don't have to speak in tongues. The Holy Word states He gives out the 9 gifts of the Spirit as He sees fits. He could give one person one gift and another all 9. I received 2 as a child then now as an adult He gave me another and I feel Him purging and sanctifying me for 2 more... At times I feel like Tongues is trying to come but I'm not where I need to be mentally for Tongues. Nor do I have the gift of interpretation of tongues. So just focus on drawing near to Him "with all your heart, soul and all your strength" and He will give you gifts when He deems so. Just know there are many potential sins that can come with Gifts, pride the big one along with self righteousness so just ask Him to keep you humble with the increase. God bless you! 🎉
How about Acts1:5? It'confusing?
Hi Child of God (I hope❤), in Acts 1:5 that was before The Holy Ghost came down on Pentecost. When Jesus/Emmanuel/YHWY was alive the Holy Spirit wasn't needed because He was here but after He went to be back with Our Father They sent the Holy Ghost to help us like when Jesus was physically here.
