John 3:5 ,Acts 2:38 ,Mark 1616 ,if one is not is baptized in water fully immersion in much water ,truth is the person is not born Again. People end on repentance prayer . Baptism is not just important but its a way to enter CHRIST JESUS, pray that God leads you
I got a big question. In John 20:17 Jesus tells his female disciple on the day he was resurrected from death, NOT to touch him because he had not....yes... *HAD NOT yet* ascended to his Father...... SO why do people keep using the thief on a cross as a support against the necessity of Water Baptism? So where did Jesus go the day he died? especially if after 3 days of being dead, he HAD NOT ascended to the Father. WHY does Jesus say in John 3:5 that we CANNOT enter the Kingdom of God without it? Why does 1 John 5:6-8 tell us about the AGREEMENT between the Water, the Spirit & the Blood?
Okay to the first question; The thief on the cross believed in Jesus and that fulfills the requirement of salvation in Romans 10:10. Water Baptism isn’t for salvation, it signifies that one has died with Christ and has been buried and resurrected with Christ. To the second question; Jesus had not yet ascended because when he died he went to hell and made a public spectacle of the enemy and collected the key of death from the devil, He preached to the captives who believed in God and His prophets in the old covenant (testament) and they were free. After which he came back on earth and had that discussion about not ascending to His Father and that’s because he still had to say somethings to His disciples (Book of Acts) and then after all was said and done, He finally ascended to His Father and presented His blood as a High priest unto the saints today. He said we cannot enter because being born of the water and of the Spirit is the salvation experience which one must receive to enter. Being born of water is being born of the spoken word of God. Some interpretations say being born of water which is the Spirit of God as water in scripture in certain contexts represents the Spirit of God. This agreement talks about the revelation of Jesus through the Water, Blood and the Spirit. These three reveal Jesus in the sense that Jesus is born of water which is the spoken word of God, blood which refers to His death that brought about His glorification which testifies of Jesus, and the Spirit who testifies and reveals Jesus. These three things all do the same thing which is the revelation of Jesus Christ. Hence the agreement or hence they agree as one. Some say the water is water baptism and that in of itself still reveals Jesus as when He was baptized in water, the Spirit by the Father confirmed and revealed Him as the Son of God. I hope this helps.
@@MRDERA-zt6tb ..... no this did not help. You said that the reason Jesus had NOT ascended to heaven is because he went to hell to receive the keys....so then when Jesus said "today you will be with me in Paradise".....by your answers....then the thief went to Hell with Jesus, or Paradise is hell. And your reasoning makes the Bible contradictory, yet you gave your answers as if you felt it was wisdom. @@truthinthefaceoftyranny Lol Jesus himself clearly said in John 20:17 “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father.” It’s clearly written in the book of John, go read it there. 1 Peter 3:19 “by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison.” Apostle Peter clearly states this about Jesus. The thief never needed water baptism to go to heaven. Water Baptism isn’t a requirement to go to heaven, Believing and declaring Jesus as Lord and His death is how you get to heaven (Romans 10:9-10) and the thief clearly did that on the cross.
