You might be a small channel (like me) but, i am new to my typewriter obsession, and you are my favorite typewriter channel. I am currently binging all your videos. Thank you for your hard work, passion and keep up the awesome work.
After many years of saving old machines, I've realized that buying one or two more of the same is always good if you need spare parts later. Great video!
You're VERY brave Miss! I am mechanically inept so I DON'T even try to "fix" anything! I look for a certified, qualified technician or mechanic usually taken upon a recommendation from a trusted friend.
I also just started a series, part 1 was live disassembling an Optima M12 (with XXL carriage). Next steps will be to clean all the parts and final step will be to try putting everything together. But I have no idea what I'm doing. :D So looking forward for your journey and outcome.
I also have no idea what I'm doing- which is why it's taking me so long to get it back together! I wish you luck on your adventure. I promise you though when you're done, you'll know a lot more than when you started
@@JustMyTypewriter but because you already have another identical machine you can compare them and don't have to guess which part goes where. At least that's why I believe and am there thinking about getting also an identical machine of mine, just to have a reference.

Hey Sarah, Happy to see another enthusiastic typewriter collector! Just now I got my 22nd typewriter. I plan on starting a nonprofit museum in the coming years to create a bigger community for like minded people like ourselves and both in the chat! Keep up the hard work, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! - sincerely, Cullen
WOW!!! Such an excellent idea for a series! How many episodes will there be? Name suggestion from me for this typewriter would be Windsor! Shout out to Grace and Dalton for picking up the typewriter for you! Woot Woot! 😊❤👍
Hi Sarah! The name Gus immediately came to mind. ☺🐁 Then I thought of Gus Gus from Cinderella. What does that have to do with royalty? Got me! All I know is I see Gus when I look at your new family member. I'm in Texas, and I NEVER see typewriters in any condition for $25 or less in my area. I look forward to seeing the transformation of your diamond in the rough. I have several typewriters that need some repairs/adjustments myself. ☺☺☺
"Bonnie Prince Charles Stuart". I started re-watching Outlander Season 2. Many Scots tried to fix him up to be worthy of sitting on the English throne.
Please if you dont mind do have a vid title or link to a vid of yours or someone's deacribing what i need to do to fix a rocket that my letters like g y j sometimes t's etc the bottom of letter will be red while most is properly black.
Sarah, the name for your new typewriter should be... "LUCKY". Why? Because "she" was fortunate enough to have caught your attention and been adopted into your larger "CLICKETY CLACKING" loving family! The alternatives usually AREN'T very pleasant demises for these noble, mass communication machines.
no such thing as to many typewriters, if you dont buy them they eventually end up as scrap metal, its why i have 56 silverettes, with no plans to stop buying them

Finale should be Christmas- it's technically still not finished. I needed to start releasing the videos to force me to complete the final adjustments!
